ELDER TREE SUMMER CAMP Six years ago, Eldertree opened their first school in Al Hilala, with only 15 kids attending. The educational facility now stands as one of the most respectable educational centres for children in Doha. Eldertree has been an integral part in the education of more than 2,000 kids from 50 different nationalities. This summer, Eldertree will combine a mix of educational and recreational activities for all the children attending the summer camp.

KIDS IN MOTION Qmotion promises fun this summer, with the Motion Summer Camp. The five-week long camp offers lots of activities for the little ones of the house to enjoy. All activities will take place at Doha Colleague from Sundays to Thursdays starting at 8:00 a.m. and running until 1:00 p.m. Each week, there will be a different theme for the kids to explore different ways of having fun and expressing their creativity. Some of the most popular themes from last year’s camp will be making a comeback this summer, including Pirate’s Treasure, Super Silly Week, Go Green and Camping-out. But the organizers are focusing on bringing even more excitement this year, with new different activities, such as music and

movements, dance classes, physical fitness, gy mnastics and athletics, ball game s, soccer and basketball, among many other cool games. Field trips will be also part of the ca mp and kids will experience a free fun day at Gondolania.
The main goal of Ki ds in Motion is to allow the kid s the chance to do several fitness activities while having fun, in orde r to improve not only their phys ical fitness, but also their social sk ills. Children will have the chan ce to meet new friends and lea rn the value of team work, spor tsmanship and acceptance of diffe rent cultures. Kids will be groupe d accordingly: four to five years old , six to seven years old and eight to 12 years old. For the past two years, Gympanzee has promoted good values to many children in Doha. In the short period of time since they have been opened, the facility has managed to build up a reputation as a premiere nursery. The centre is open to children between two and 12 years of age and is located at Villaggio Mall. This summer, Gympanzee will once again open its very successful summer camp. Children participating in the camp will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of field trips (at least once a week), including visiting the Museum of Islamic Art, the Post Office, Pizza Express and Gondolania. In addition, the little ones will also have the opportunity to enroll in swimming classes once a week. Workshops are also offered at the summer camp. Kids will learn how to create their very own puppets, allowing them to design their facial expressions, gender and age, in addition to putting on their own puppet shows. Other activities include dancing, games, Sport-Zumba kids, yoga bear, movement and a workshop on designing kites. During Ramadan, children will learn about the Holy Month and the traditions that go with it. Teachers will tell stories about Ramadan and on Monday, July 15, children will go for garanga, a tradition in the Gulf where children go from door to door collecting candies. The activity will take place inside Villaggio Mall. Girls will have their hands decorated with henna. Gympanzee is best suited for children who are potty trained. DATES: June 12th till August 31st
