Interactive Skyscrapper at Mumbai,India. Design research carried out in the FORM FINDING studio is applied by morphogenetic approach to architectural design entails unfolding morphological complexity and performative capacity from material constituents without differentiating between formation and materialisation processes. Aggregates systems is used to create structural skin for the skyskrapper, which optimised structural form and reduced the amount of material and energy needed tto o resist gravitational forces and horizontal loads. 7

In Reactive system part of Genotype of aggregates system is used to make the performative and envirnmental sensative systems by using Rduino board, sensors and mechanical actuators(pistons). This system is used in architectural proposal to make energy efficient adaptive structural skin. Sensors sences envirnment and transfers data to Rduino board which controls the position of actua Reactive system (interactive system) tors to make adaptive Structural skin. Reactive system is used as per envirnmental changes in the surroundings, like wind, heat and light to control internal envirnment of habitable space.

Commertial cum residential neighbourhood at plaza lesseps Barcelona , Spain. Computational design studio was based on emergent pattern of natural system produce by mass density of pedestrian Analysis of plaza was done with the data of pedestrians flow. This physical data then digitized in processing with the help 2 of particle system to start the design development in grasshopper. 1.2. polyline structure got from the analyzing pedestrian data into processing. 3.4. surface generation through the polystructure of lines . 5. tectonic generation through polysurfaces. 6. Time Based Formations Through Material Intelligence.(M Arch project) This was the true scale research project carried out by masters student at ADDA , elisava school of design, barcelona. Spain. We focused our interest on observing how biological organism achieve complex emergent structures from simple components.We worked by experimenting and learning from the material, applying the various techniques of form finding’ such as folding , weaving, catenaries, minimal nets, minimal surfaces, lyder mayer system. This new approach to the creation of form through knowledge of material, and of its “intelligennt” behaviour, complemented by the use of parametric software enabled us to produce designs that are not only totally innovative in material, form and behaviour, but also able to adapt to their envirnment. Here we used the Globaly modulated material system, Thos system is made interactive with use of pressure sensors which are placed below the wooden floor. When persone goes through this pavallion pressure sensors sences the wight of the person and transfers data to the RDUINO board and then through rduino to the actoators (pistons) to activate the system. Depending upon the weight of person the system opens and closes its form (shape).

B.Arch. DESIGN DISSERTATION. REMODELLING OF JAWAHERLAL NEHRU STADIUM AT NEW DELHI FOR 2016 OLYMPICS.

This was proposal for remodelling of existing Jawaherlal Nehru Stadium for 2016th olympics bidding of indian olympics association.

CONCEPT: Form and structure of roof is inspiration from the natural form of “LEAF” .Double curvature of leaf has been used to cover entire span of stadium. Central vein splits in to two parabolic arches which becomes the main support for the roof, secondary veins act as a suspenders for the arches and tertiary veins (reticulum) becomes the triangular space frame which transfers stresses evenly through out the roof.

LOCATION: MUMBAI, INDIA AREA: 4500 SQ FT INDIGO DELI is high end restaurant cum retail deli. Form has developed from the stalagmite of the caves. Basic idea behind cave form is to create cave ambience for dining area and retail corridor. Entire skin is hung from the ceiling , which comes down in central area to form retail display. Skin is divided in to 9�x 9� vertical and horizontal ribs,witch allows space for retail display. Joinery between vertical and horizontal ribs allows indirect cove lighting in ceiling which creates cave ambience for dining area. 1.2.3.4. waffle construction process. 5.Design inspiration natural stalagmite of cave. 6. PROJECT: (sp+a) High End Fashion Retail, MUMBAI. AREA: 1000 SQ FT Inspiration was derived from dramatic objects that have the ability to perform in multiple different roles without effort. This project demanded the ability to be performative due to the eccentric nature of its program and client. The fluid swaying of a woman’s hips also provided inspiration.By silhouetting snapshots of a model walking a fashion runway and studying the juxtaposition inherent in the movement, the advent notion of soft form began to develop. 1. SKY GARDENS (sp+a) AREA :5 MILLION SQ FT LOCATION: HYDERABAD, INDIA. Sky Gardens is proposed residential tower at hyderabad.Design inspiration was stepping gardens in ground green Himalaya. Nature of green space as a purely recreational element and ‘pull’ it ver- 2 tically as a green void on the building faces.This allows to create green space vertically, leveraging green building strategies of rain and storm water re mediation/purification while distributing shared and private green spaces through the entire building. 1. green spaces distribution on ground and podium lvl. 2. Building blocks 3. cut outs terrace gardens spirally wrapping the building blocks. 4. Cutout terraces allows garden space for residential units 5.conceptual idea behind spiral green space wrapping the residential units. 6.section through building 7.Tea crop gardens in Himalaya as inspiration behind creating sky gardens at different levels.

Holiday Home in Himalaya Renge, kasauli, area 8000 sq ft Undulated natural terrain of surrounding Himalayan range has been studied and used to create triangulated roof.

Auditorium for Holy Writ School, Badlapur, area 12000 sq ft, capacity 450 seats 1: rectangular mass as per the area. 2: Division of mass as per function of auditorium 3: Twisting each sub mass to create opening on either side, which becomes the exist and entry for spectators.Twisting each mass induces strength in the material (crease), which helps to span the roof across width of auditorium. 4:Final mass with staircase on either side. 5,6: section and plan of auditorium.

Baner Development

at Pune. area 9,00,000 sq ft This is premium residential development at Baner,Pune for Kalpataru Developers. Idea behind inclosed green court is to create interactive community place, which is internally connected by sculpted stepped gardens at different levels. These stepped garden places act as a social gathering places, playing areas for childrens as well as continuous jogging track inside the building.


PROJECT: KASAULI

DEVELOPMENT (rs+a) Location: Himachal Pradesh , India. AREA : 4.5 ACRES Development of ten high end holiday homes of two different type, currently in Kasauli (Himachal Pradesh) Each of about 45o00 sq ft with spectacular views overlooking the valley considering the stiff incline (45 degree) of the hill slope, the house has been designed at multiple levels. The intention was to break the house into fragmented offshoots, thereby eliminating the feel of a large monolithic mass, and also allowing for variation to be made in each house to avoid monotonous repetition over hill slope.

SIAA is 2000sq Ft of Five star standalone rest-aurant. situated on the terrace of 4 storey Bldg overlooking the old begumpet airport. Design inspiration was fushion of indo-islamic arches and vault of Goconda fort, hyderabad.

Seating arrangement has been designed in 3 lvls to give spectacular view of valley and begumpet airport. Free flowing shape skylight divides roof in 2 wooden vaults, which comes down up to the floor lvl. Arch form windows merges with vault and create niche for the windows.

LUSCIOS (sp+a) AREA: 2000 Sq Ft Luscious is night club/ pub in hyderabad, India. lounge seating have been generated from the ‘LIPS’ form to create seductive ambience.Concave brass plates have been used as indirect light source. 1. lips of lady as a design inspiration for sofa 2. lounge seating sofa with thermobent resin band as light source.
