Assisted the Senior Project Architect and Project Manager directly in the production of drawings, development of the design, supervision of junior team members and delivered the project to AHJ submission (100% Bid/GMP Final). HLW International, New York Project Architect, July 2017 - July 2019 Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, NY Hudson Tea Building D, Hoboken, NJ Revetment House Apartments, Jersey City, NJ Fordham University Rose Hill Campus Center, Bronx, NY _____________________________________________________ Administered the construction of Hofstra University’s new Zarb School of Business, a four-story steel frame, GFRC rainscreen system with curtain wall and metal panels. Program included a large business incubator, maker space, behavioral lab and integrated technology in each of its meeting and conference spaces. The project is LEED certified Silver (BD+C). HLW International, New York Project Architect, July 2017 - July 2019 Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, NY Hudson Tea Building D, Hoboken, NJ Revetment House Apartments, Jersey City, NJ Fordham University Rose Hill Campus Center, Bronx, NY _____________________________________________________ Project architect for Toll Brothers’ new twelve-story condominium. It is a poured concrete structure with brick veneer podium and window wall superstructure. The first floor is a core-and-shell retail with parking garage, extensive back-of-house facilities, and tenant lobby with intermediate-level amenities including a children’s playroom, fitness room, and rooftop space with a small pool and private cabanas. Delivered final permit drawings to include change in scope, incorporation of planning review comments and owner/builder value-engineered changes. Led the construction administration which included coordinating directly with consultants, updating and submitting bulletins for construction, responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals and attending periodic job site meetings. HLW International, New York Project Architect, July 2017 - July 2019 Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, NY Hudson Tea Building D, Hoboken, NJ Revetment House Apartments, Jersey City, NJ Fordham University Rose Hill Campus Center, Bronx, NY _____________________________________________________ Administered the construction of the seven-story precast concrete apartment building from groundbreaking to occupancy. Structure is built on top of an existing railway embankment requiring close attention to existing conditions. The owner/developer maintained a demanding schedule that required quick turnaround times on coordination and review of submittals and RFIs. Tasks included updating drawings as necessary for initial DOB approval and later for inspector comments on construction issues. HLW International, New York Project Architect, July 2017 - July 2019 Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, NY Hudson Tea Building D, Hoboken, NJ Revetment House Apartments, Jersey City, NJ Fordham University Rose Hill Campus Center, Bronx, NY _____________________________________________________ Worked directly with the owner, Construction Manager, internal and external consultants, and various third parties such as Fordham foodvending services to align the concept, deliverables, and schedule. Program included a basement fitness area, first floor offices with campus ministry, second floor student spaces and meeting rooms, and a third floor boardroom with special events ballroom. The addition is connected to an expansive existing building by a two-story gallery space. The new building addition will also connect to the adjacent gymnasium with a glazed roof arcade. Tasks included setting agendas and leading meetings, prioritizing tasks for a team of designers, and maintaining the schedule to keep the project on track. Winks-Snowa Architects, Richmond, VA Project Manager, 2014 - 2017 The Watermark at Talbot Park, Norfolk, VA Bainbridge Commons, Chesapeake, VA Crossroads Apartments Phase 1, Spotsylvania County, VA Centerpointe Apartments, Chesterfield County, VA Southpoint, Spotsylvania County, VA Belle Summit Apartments, Richmond, VA Abberly Square, Waldorf, MD _____________________________________________________ Project manager of multiple large mid and low-rise apartment complexes including The Watermark, a groundup new construction project on Norfolk’s waterfront. The location of former 1940’s naval housing, the site required extensive remediation. Program includes a 12,000sf clubhouse area with integrated business and technology functions, a modern fitness center, an outdoor pool with poolside cabana, leasing offices and 180 units in four unique multi-story buildings. Amstadter Architects, Chicago, IL Project Designer, 2006 - 2009 Hillel Campus Center, University of Illinois -Urbana Champaign Wickes Furniture Retail Building, Chicago, IL Morris School Design Competition _____________________________________________________ Project Designer for a university facility to accommodate 3,000 undergraduate and 500 graduate students. Program included a student lounge, kitchen facilities for kosher food preparation, a coffee bar, multipurpose program area, and rooftop event space. Assisted the firm’s designer in the development of the concept and the creation of Construction Documents. Coordinated with structural engineers on an entrance redesign and facade material value-engineering exercise, developed 3dsMax renderings for marketing and funding events, and assisted the Project Architect in jobsite visits until project close-out and final occupancy. _____________________________________________________
