Brother Goose is the Bandstand’s opening act at the festival and the youngest of the acts this year. Coming straight from the Southampton area, they have only been formed since early 2012, but are already picking up presence within the music industry. Spectral Park aka Southampton’s Luke Donovan; describes his genre as experimental Lo- Fi Pop.The debut LP ‘Spectral park was release early this year in January. ‘These are songs borne from the trash’ shows the experimental and uniqueness of this act. Wounded Crow the final addition; is a new, heavy blues band. Fronted by Ben Munday, who was previously of the Mopes and the Doghouse Boatboys. The Spoken Word tent has headliners Dizraeli and Luke Wright performing. Also confirmed to play are local talent Cloudi Lewis, Contraband, The Crooked Beat, Hairy Hands and Manusa Project. Just added to the festival are DJ’s – thequickandthedead, Morgan Hislop and SEMSU DJ’s and added to the Melting pot line up is Lucy Kitchen. The festival also provides other entertainment through the day from an arts market, live art, street acts, magic and free workshops. It’s a free festival so there is no excuse for not paying a visit. Luke Donovan of Spectral Park said “There aren't many free, outdoor music/arts events here in Southampton so Ejector Seat's something the city should embrace and get behind. This year's line-up looks good and we're stoked to be playing. It's the first time I'll be able to bring my daughter to a show so that makes it pretty special for me and it's the kind of thing that can only happen at events like these."
