Interiors Well-designed interiors are critical in shaping educational experiences and improving the quality of people’s lives. We design interiors that promote clients’ missions, achieve brand awareness and support the wellbeing of all occupants. All of our interiors projects are opportunities to design positive, consistent visual reinforcements of our clients’ cultural identities. By combining the skills of our interiors professionals with those of architects, planners, engineers and technology specialists, we offer our clients a breadth of service and single-point responsibility found in few other firms. Our interiors services range from programming, space-planning and officing studies to the selection of furnishings, finishes and artwork. Planning / Urban Design We help our clients evolve, grow and prosper because our process engages research, cutting-edge technology tools and appreciation for the unique cultures of people, organizations and places. Our interdisciplinary teams of master planners, urban designers, architects, landscape architects and programmers engage ongoing transformations of urban areas, encouraging development and redevelopment, with unique solutions for every site. Through urban districts, institutional campuses, innovation districts, long range development plans, master plans, streetscapes and transit-oriented communities, our teams integrate building blocks of community, sustainability and resilience into innovative design solutions. Lab Planning / Design From universities to corporations to government entities, we plan and design laboratories that connect today’s users to the possibilities of tomorrow. Laboratory facilities are among the most intricate and complex design projects. Our architects, planners and engineers provide a full range of services to deliver high-quality scientific and technologically intensive environments that integrate with the design of the host facility. The unique challenges posed by highly toxic petrochemical corrosion labs, sterile environments for pharmaceutical manufacturing, biohazard high-containment suites and precise environmental control of animal laboratories are commonplace obstacles overcome by our dedicated technical teams every day. Our laboratory planners are specialists with a thorough understanding of the safety standards and scientific equipment requirements foundational to the success of all laboratories. Branding & Graphics At Page, our visual identity and experiential designers create brand identities and graphic designs that support how places and environments are experienced. The orchestration of two-dimensional design work including typography, color, imagery, form, technology and, especially, content, forms this basis. Examples of this work include wayfinding systems, architectural graphics, signage, exhibit design, retail design and themed or branded spaces. We operate at the intersection of communications and the built environment. We provide architectural and placemaking visioning and create overall design vocabularies that help clients hone in on the possibilities, character and nature of a project.

Programming Before we design physical spaces, our Programming team members lead a strategic planning process with our specialists, designers and clients to crystallize both the vision and objective for a project. They understand business dynamics and organizational complexities, which allows them to facilitate productive discussions. We generate a robust understanding of the problem at hand prior to design in order to facilitate, support and in some cases guide clients’ organizational change and growth decisions. We have proven that throughout design, construction and move-in, the clearly communicated project definition developed in the pre-design phase supports effective organizational and/or operational change management even after project completion. Informed client decisions position our entire team to develop optimal solutions throughout every step of the design process. Predictive Analytics Our Predictive Analytics team is an international workplace consultancy consisting of architects, planners, technology designers, process improvement specialists and industrial engineers. Predictive analytics brings quantitative, objective, and data-driven focus to the entire design process. Using clients’ existing performance data, we identify areas for operational and spatial efficiency. Employing observational research techniques, a new future state environment is designed, and we can save clients time, resources, space and money while optimizing performance in the workplace. Building Sciences At Page, we approach sustainable design through the interdisciplinary lens of building sciences to create higher performing, healthier and more resilient buildings. As one of the first signatories of AIA 2030 Commitment, we are invested in leading the industry towards carbon-neutral buildings and advocating for resilient solutions to help our clients prepare for the future. We believe that intention requires rigor and through our data driven and integrative process, we collaborate early and often to ensure designs are informed by our building performance analysis. With experience across a wide range of environmental certification systems, our multidisciplinary team is well qualified to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to sustainable design. Commissioning We recognized the level of investment and importance of facilities that function as designed from the day they open. Our Commissioning service provides this assurance to owners and operators while also minimizing costly construction rework. At Page, we accomplish commissioning through a collaborative process that includes the building owner, design professionals and the general contractor under the guiding hand of the Commissioning Authority. We have a solid track record as a Certified Commissioning Firm (CCF). The exacting standards of our professional engineers, architects and field technicians in service of our clients support delivery of construction quality. We also perform Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) in accordance with Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) standards.

Renovation & Resilience Page loves the challenge of integrating current needs with existing buildings and sites, marrying the best of old and new while shepherding our planet’s valuable resources.

At Page, we look for ways to advance sustainable design processes beyond “doing no harm” to improving the environments and communities within which we build. Mimicking nature, planning for an unpredictable future, and designing with a holistic idea of place has never been more important. For learning environments, this means more than minimizing impact; we seek to restore and improve the sites, neighborhoods and cities within which we build while conserving scarce resources. This intention requires rigor. Our strategy for implementing, using metrics and transparency, sets us apart. We utilize an evaluation tool [below] to collaborate with our clients and explore project possibilities. Documentation may take the form of accepted rating systems, such as LEED or CHPS; however, Page documents all projects internally as part of our commitment to AIA 2030. Through our process, we can ensure those important topics are included in our approach. This process results in a unique wheel or sustainability thumbprint for every project that defines priorities, sets intentions and guides investments. For the Colorado State University Mountain Campus in Bellvue, Colorado resilience and ecology were prioritized to recognize the wildfire-prone surroundings and demonstrate the importance of the college’s mission. The global discussion has evolved from energy, water, and materials to carbon, community, and resilience. In many cases, reusing an existing building and existing site infrastructure provides a jump start to achieving sustainability goals. Existing buildings and campuses contain an enormous amount of embodied carbon, already harvested, extracted, manufactured, transported, and assembled. They are often designed with a sophisticated response to regional climate. Community members have cultural and psychological attachments, based on past experiences. The structures have withstood prior weather events and years of use.
