O Pandora and the Flying Dutchman (2:03) Albert Lewin’s gorgeous, surreal 1951 drama stars James Mason as a doomed seafarer and Ava Gardner as his saucy muse. O Paranormal Activity (1:39) Two young marrieds consider switching realtors when they discover a noisome nocturnal spook sharing their tract house. O Paris (2:04) Cedric Klapisch’s valentine to the City of Lights focuses on an ensemble of Parisians and their dovetailing lives. O Pirate Radio (1:55) Eight rogue ’60s-era disc jockeys led by Philip Seymour Hoffman beam rock ’n’ roll at a helpless Britain and inspire an entire generation. O Precious (1:49) Sundance fave about an AfricanAmerican teen who deals with illiteracy and a second pregnancy with the help of a Harlem schoolteacher. O Return to Oz (1:53) Dorothy heads back to the Emerald City in Walter Murch’s handsome and faithful adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s stories. O A Serious Man (1:45) A physics professor struggles to become a mensch (despite a wandering wife, a burdensome brother, mendacious colleagues and a couple of unlovely children) in the Coen boys’ latest comedy. O Skin (1:47) True tale of a black girl born to white parents in apartheid-era South Africa and the difficulties she faced as she grew into womanhood. O Tetro (2:07) A family reunion in Buenos Aires devolves into recrimination and betrayal; Francis Coppola directs Klaus Maria Brandauer and Vincent Gallo. O The Three Fathers of Cinema Sound designer/ editor extraordinaire Walter Murch discusses the prehistoric contributions Beethoven, Flaubert and Edison made to the art of film. O Touch of Evil (1:52) Meticulously restored version of Orson Welles’ dazzling 1958 thriller about sex, drugs, racism and corruption in a sleazy, crimeridden border town. O Twilight (2:00) A misunderstood teen meets the love of her life: a witty, intelligent, fang-less vampire named Edward. O The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2:10) The next installment of Stephenie Meyer’s blood-suckin’ roman-fleuve finds Bella Swan enjoying post-vampire succor in the arms of an incipient werewolf. O 2012 (2:38) Yet another global-cataclysm scenario, this one starring John Cusack, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and George Segal as the survivors. O (Untitled) A surly avant-garde Manhattan composer finds himself in the uber-cool world of elite, eccentric and otherwise pretentious New York artists. O Where the Wild Things Are (1:34) Dave Eggers and Spike Jonze take on Maurice Sendak’s children’s classic about a dissatisfied little boy’s adventures in a world of equally dissatisfied uber-creatures.
