The Grand Place is Brussels overwhelming space. Erected for the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels, the Atomium has become a true symbol of the capital of Belgium. Made of steel and aluminum, the set represents an iron crystal. The structure, designed by architect AndrĂŠ Waterkeyn, was planned to stay six months, but quickly became a tourist attraction. Since March 2004, conducted a renewal process.
