CLUSTER OF EXCELLENCE

8th semester

In collaboration to the research project from LIA and the Humbolt Universitat in prototypes for working environments and multidisciplinary spaces the exercise consisted in the design for the new location of the Cluster of Excellence of the HU Universit채t where different disciplines work in common projects. The proposal search for a maximum flexibility and functionality that allows the users to experiment without any compromise with the building. The concrete nucleus contain the service spaces who feed the served spaces where laboratories, libraries and working spaces coexist.

METZTITLAN CULTURAL CENTER

6th semester

Educational and cultural group of buildings placed in three escalated locations with preexisting structures that connect the center of Metztitlan town with the church placed on the highest point of the mount where the town is located. The proposal establish transparence and fluidity as the main condition to involve, attract and connect the local community with the institution.


“LA JOYA� crater PAVILION

6th semester

Touristic viewer site made with rock gavions in an eroded Crater. The pavilion composed with two walls that merge in the pronounced topography from the crater and open a small door to the users than compress their view and liberate them to a platform with a roof and a place to seat to admire the landscape


GARIBALDI BUILDING

5th semester

The proposal for a mixed use building in the Garibaldi square in Mexico City offers a public and commercial program in the ground and first floors in order to articulate the users with their surroundings neighbours and offer public spaces and equipment to supply the nearby metro station.

Restoration project of the Mathematical building from the Technical University of Berlin. The intervention keeps the identity of the building and counteract the mobility limitations from the original project with one clear circulation that connect the different elements of the program to propitiate horizontal displacements and social interaction.
