This facility will provide a HUB in the South of England for all Dental Professionals and is part of Bracon’s continued commitment to the Dental Team. With good links to Gatwick Airport, the Euro Tunnel and London, the Centre is ideally located in the beautiful Sussex landscape, and within easy driving distance of the coast. COURSE TITLE: DIGITAL DENTISTRY, SCANNING AND PRINTING OVERVIEW COURSE LENGTH: 2 HOURS

COURSE OBJECTIVES: To provide a basic understanding and overview of Digital Dentistry specifically related to scanning and 3D printing. To see the equipment and scanning demonstrated. COURSE OUTCOMES: Delegates will understand Digital Dentistry processes and the procedures involved in Scanning and 3D Printing. Will also understand what can be fabricated by current materials using the above. Delegates will also understand how this technology is already changing the dental landscape. COURSE GUIDE: This short course is ideal for Dental Professionals who wish to find out about Digital Dentistry in relation to Scanning and 3D Printing. It will provide an overview of current scanning and printing technology and its applications. COURSE OUTCOMES: Delegates will understand the business opportunities and changes to workflow that Digital Dentistry offers to the Dental Team and the benefits to Patients. An understanding and knowledge of how Digital Scanners and 3D Printers work, plus the materials that can be used for different aspects of Dentistry. Practical hands on experience of basic scanning and printing. A good understanding of file types and formats related to scanning and printing. After completing this course Dental Professionals would have enough information to be able to decide if they wish to expand their current services to incorporate scanning and/or printing and be able to choose the most appropriate equipment and materials for their requirements or the requirements of their clients. COURSE OBJECTIVES: To provide a comprehensive understanding of digital workflow elements in relation to fabricating Zirconia crowns. Including hands on practical sessions with Digital Scanning, Design in Exocad for copings and fully anatomical crowns and an introduction to Vita YZ T, HT, ST , XT. Colouring and shading zirconia for individual characterisation. COURSE OUTCOMES: Delegates will understand the business opportunities and changes to workflow that Digital Dentistry offers within the fabrication of Zirconia Crowns, should they wish to carry out the entire workflow, or subcontract certain stages to others. An understanding and knowledge of how Digital Scanners and 3D Printers work, plus the Vita materials that can be used for the fabrication of zirconia crowns. Practical hands on experience of basic scanning, design and characterisation of Zirconia before sintering with Vita products. A good understanding of file types and formats related to scanning and printing. After completing this course Dental Professionals would have enough information to be able to decide if they wish to expand their current services to incorporate a digital workflow and be able to choose the most appropriate equipment and materials for their requirements or the requirements of their clients. Practical hands on experience of the preparation of STL files for 3D model printing. Build up, firing and finishing of the zirconia copings, designed and coloured before sintering on the first day of the course, with Vita VM9 Ceramic. A good understanding of file types and formats related to scanning and printing. After completing this course Dental Professionals would have enough information to be able to decide if they wish to expand their current services to incorporate a digital workflow and be able to choose the most appropriate equipment and materials for their requirements or the requirements of their clients. COURSE OBJECTIVES: To provide a comprehensive introduction to the VITA VM ® LC Pink composite gingival kit, and its possible use on multiple material scenarios including, Acrylic, Zirconia, Alloys, Ceramic and Polymers COURSE OUTCOMES: Delegates will understand the correct protocols for layering the gingival composite on all the material scenarios above. An understanding and knowledge of how to select and apply the correct gingival colour combinations, utilising a repeatable and easy to follow "colour map". With a “follow my lead” approach, delegates will gain practical hands on experience of basic and advanced composite layering techniques. After completing this course Dental Professionals would have enough information to be able to be characterise any dental prosthesis in harmony with natural gingival tissues, enabling them to offer this as a service to their clients or patients, benefitting those that require this level of aesthetics. COURSE GUIDE: The one day course will include hands on sessions of basic and advanced techniques, which delegates will then reproduce themselves during the day, utilising the Vita materials provided. COURSE OBJECTIVES: To give delegates basic knowledge of dental CAD software so that they are able to use various types of work with the many Expert functions available. The courses will also outline using the STL files created during these sessions for 3D printing with a 3D printer. COURSE OUTCOMES: Exocad framework worksheet creation Preparing of model and scanning Blocking of undercuts and preparation for clasps Exocad framework design of case ( upper and/or lower) Saving and export of STL file for 3D printing. Preparing files to print with Asiga Composer software and Asiga MAX 385 UV 3D printer. COURSE GUIDE: This Basic course will give you an understanding of the basic concepts of the digital environment and in so creating STL files with first-level use of Exocad with the aid of the very intuitive, user-friendly Exocad DentalCAD software. It will also help with giving the participant an understanding of 3D printing using the Asiga MAX 3D printer and utilising the Asiga Composer software to prepare for printing. COURSE FEE: £120.00 +VAT per delegate.
