10-11 November 2008, Dubai
The event: 10-11 November 2008, Dubai The Russia Investment Roadshow is the brand new concept of the annual Russian Economic Forum, which for the last decade has attracted over 2000 delegates annually to London for a high profile and broad ranging conference dedicated to exploring investment opportunities in the Russian market and Russia’s wider impact on the global economy. The Russia Investment Roadshow has a portable format designed to fit the particular needs of international business and financial centres around the globe. As Russian investment increases every year, and as the reach of Russian business grows geographically each year, the Roadshow is the only international business event dedicated to Russia – making the event a unique opportunity for investors, financiers, senior business executives and opinion formers to meet and network. At the same time, the Russia Investment Roadshow is a powerful vehicle with which to promote an international business centre to Russian investors – and in November 2008, the event will be staged in Dubai – shining the global investment spotlight on a dynamic business hub which is undergoing huge growth, and which is an increasingly popular destination for Russian business and leisure travelers. Over the last decade, Russia and the United Arab Emirates have forged ever stronger commercial links, and today the UAE is Russia’s biggest trading partner in the Gulf region. With a bi-lateral relationship which has evolved from trade and tourism to deeper commercial investment, the importance of the links that tie the two countries were highlighted in autumn 2007 with President Putin’s visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he was greeted by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahayan, President of the UAE.
