ravis Mohr grew up on a dairy farm in the Wisconsin countryside. He enjoyed a fresh, wholesome upbringing in a Christian home and had strong ties to the local Lutheran Church. Life on the farm taught him responsibility and offered him an opportunity to develop a strong work ethic and the mindset to keep up with a demanding routine. It was hard work but provided a solid foundation for his future. After graduating from high school, Travis attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. While trying to decide on a major, he had the opportunity to learn through the University’s interdisciplinary approach to higher education, which included job shadowing. Travis took advantage of the opportunity to job shadow and gained knowledge, experience, and college credits. When he shadowed a chiropractor, he found his calling. He then chose to attend Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri, for his graduate studies. Founded in 1935, Logan is considered to be “one of the best chiropractic colleges and universities in North America.” Dr. Travis Mohr graduated Cum Laude from Logan with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. When he was offered an internship in Florida, he followed the opportunity and the sunshine to the Tampa Bay area. After completing his internship, Dr. Mohr knew he wanted to start his own practice, providing the best possible care for his patients. In 2009, Dr. Mohr opened North Tampa Spine & Joint Center in New Tampa. He provides a variety of services,

including chiropractic care, massage therapy, physio-therapy, acupuncture, posture correction, nutritional support, and exercise education. North Tampa Spine & Joint Center customizes wellness programs for each patient, specifically targeting the patient’s “wellness needs using the least invasive yet highly-effective techniques and services.” “Patients are our top priority,” states Dr. Mohr. He employs a professional staff of five and offers extended hours in order to service the 100 plus patients he sees each week. Dr. Mohr and his staff strive to meet the needs of their patients. Dr. Mohr believes his Christian principles are a good fit with his holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. Mohr has excelled as one of the best conservative doctors in Tampa, and his practice earned the Super Service Award from Angie’s List in 2011. He maintains an active membership with the Florida Chiropractic Association, and he is consistently rated the best Tampa chiropractor by patients and reviewers alike. In addition, Dr. Mohr’s extensive education has well equipped him to teach. He has presented lectures at Moffitt Cancer Center, Verizon, Syniverse, and other large corporations in the Tampa area. Dr. Mohr also shares his proven methods with his colleagues.

He explained one bit of advice that he gives to new chiropractic doctors: “Be committed. This is a service industry and it will require a lot of hours and research to make the right patient decisions.” Additionally, Dr. Mohr recommends getting involved in the community. “Get connected and ask for help in building your practice.” Dr. Mohr is an active member of the New Tampa and the Wesley Chapel Chambers of Commerce and the New Tampa Rotary Club. His practice sponsors local high schools and day-care centers, and he participates in charity fundraisers. Dr. Mohr is also available for corporate presentations on proper posture and workplace ergonomics, and he is a credentialed speaker for nurses and insurance adjusters.
