In a world where terrible suffering, loss and war exist, it’s natural to question the love and goodness of a God who would let such things happen. This short leaflet will help you think about who God is, and why we can trust Him, even when life hurts—and we don’t know why. Discover there are good reasons to trust in God during seasons of suffering, not least because Jesus Himself walked on earth as “a man of suffering, and familiar with pain” (Isaiah 53:3). When we suffer, our Lord understands and walks with us, supplying us with the comfort and hope we need.
