Turner, Edna Miller and Ethel Meyers are working hard for a readjustment of rules in regard to class absences. The committees of the students and faculty met and have elected Professor L. A. Weinland president, and C. L. Booth secretary. They will present to the faculty for their consideration· this evening the following: The storm of protest that greeted the present ruling is, we think, sufficient evidence of its 'injustice.
