Walters recalls celebrity interviews at Negev Dinner By Michael Regenstreif Legendary television personality Barbara Walters was the keynote speaker, November 8, at a somewhat different kind of Jewish National Fund of Ottawa (JNF) Negev Dinner. Different in that it was a Negev Dinner held without a primary honouree.

It is a career that remains busy at age 82. Walters is currently cohost and co-executive producer of The View, a daily morning TV talk show, and she continues to put together several prime time celebrity interview specials each year. Among the figures mentioned by Walters there were several, (Continued on page 2 )

In addition to the mayor’s anti-bullying speech, the assembly included an anti-bullying video prepared by Grade 6 students and the presentation of Certificates of Recognition to a student from each grade that has shown exemplary behaviour.
