HANDS ON CHRISTMAS ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL: at Smyrna First United Methodist Church onSaturday, November 12th from 10am - 2pm. Kids of all ages can create high quality, homemade crafts and keepsakes. (Adult supervision required for younger kids.) The Holiday Gift Mart is filled with local artisans’ unique crafts and gifts, and local businesses will offer goods and services via a Silent Auction. For more info, visit www.smyrnafumc.org. BETHANY HOLIDAY BAZAAR: Make Christmas special for those on your list with items from local vendors on Saturday, November 12, 10a-4p at Bethany United Methodist Church, 760 Hurt Rd. Smyrna, GA 30082. Proceeds go to support our missions programs (Habitat for Humanity; Soldier Angel/Workdog Programs). NORTHSIDE METHODIST PRESCHOOL HOLIDAY GIFT SHOW: November 11th and 12th. NMP will hold its annual Holiday Gift Show on Friday 11/11 and Saturday 11/12 from 9am - 4pm. The show features goods from up and coming artisans, unique jewelry, hand crafted items for the home and local gourmet treats all from vendors around the Atlanta area. MOMS CLUB OF SMYRNA WEST: MOMS Club® of Smyrna-West is a national non-profit organization which offers support to stay-at-home mothers. Our chapter includes mothers of all ages, as well as those who work part-time, in or out of the home. We offer you the opportunity to share activities during the weekday with other moms and their children. MOMS Club plans a monthly calendar full of events for mothers and their children, including park play dates, playgroups, trips to local attractions, Mom’s Night Out and more. MCSW includes the King Springs, Norton Park and Smyrna Elementary School, AND Nickajack districts. SCIENCE WITH SANTA: Saturday, December 3rd, from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Smyrna Library Atrium. Join the Friends of Smyrna Library as we celebrate the holidays and thank our many supporters. Live holiday music, Selfies with Santa, Refreshments, Silent Auction, Stocking Stuffers for Sale, Hands-On Science Activities, Explore Earth exhibit. Be sure to visit the hands-on traveling exhibit, “Explore Earth: Our Changing Planet” to learn more about earth science. VININGS JUBILEE TREE LIGHTING: Vinings Jubilee Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 1st from 6pm-8pm. Bring the whole family and enjoy live holiday music from the Whitefield Academy Jazz Band and Campbell Middle School Chorus, carolers, and delicious treats provided by the surrounding restaurants. Additional dance performances from The Studio Atlanta Dance. From seasonal face painting to holiday-themed balloon twisting, the event is sure to get the whole family in the spirit. Santa will also make an appearance and is available for photos and gift requests. Last but not least, the Vinings Express Train is back again this year and making stops all around Vinings Jubilee. The Vinings Jubilee Christmas Tree Lighting is a can’t-miss tradition that is the perfect start to the holiday season!
