PAUL GUILHAUME
Paul Guilhaume is a young and talented French cinematographer who graduated from the La Fémis in Paris in 2014. In 2015, his documentary The Lives of Thérèse directed by Sébastien Lifshitz was chosen to the La Quinzaine section in Cannes. Last year, his first feature film Ava (2017) directed by Léa Mysius was chosen to the International Critics’ Week of the Cannes Film Festival and won the Golden Wolf Award at the Montreal Festival of New Cinema and the award for Best Cinematography at the Stockholm Film Festival. His latest work as a cinematographer, Treat Me Like Fire (Joueurs, 2018) directed by Marie Monga and starring Stacy Martin and Tahar Rahim, was included in the Quinzaine section at this year’s Cannes IFF. <

Paul Guilhaume je mladý talentovaný francouzský kameraman, který vystudoval v roce 2014 pařížskou La Fémis. V roce 2015 byl jeho dokumentární film Les Vies de Thérèse (Životy Terezy), pod režií Sébastiena Lifshitze, vybrán do sekce La Quinzaine v Cannes. Jeho první celovečerní hraný film Ava (2017), v režii Léy Mysiusové, byl minulý rok vybrán do sekce Týden kritiky v Cannes, vyhrál Zlatou vlčici na Festivalu nového filmu v Montrealu a cenu za nejlepší fotografii na filmovém festivalu ve Stockholmu. Jeho poslední kameramanský počin, Hráči (Joueurs, 2018) v režii Marie Mongeové, se Stacy Martinovou a Taharem Rahimem v hlavních rolích se účastnil letos sekce Quinzaine v Cannes. <

SANTIAGO RACAJ
Spanish cinematographer Santiago Racaj has more than 25 years of experience in the film industry. His filmography includes dozens or rather hundreds of commercials, a long list of documentaries, music videos and fourteen feature films including the acclaimed film Summer 1993 (Estiu 1993, 2017, dir. Carla Simon Pipó, nominated for the Goya award and winner of the Gaudí and Platino awards for best cinematography), the comedy Can’t Say Goodbye (No sé decir adiós, 2017, dir. Lino Escalera), Magical Girl (dir. 2014, Carlos Vermut, winner of the San Sebastián IFF Golden Shell for the Best film and the Silver Shell for the Best Director) and Wounded (La Herida, 2013, dir. Jonás Trueba). Apart from working as a cinematographer, Santiago Racaj also lectures and leads master classes. <

Španělský kameraman Santiago Racaj má více než dvacet pět let zkušeností v oboru. Na kontě má desítky či spíše stovky reklamních spotů, dlouhou řadu dokumentárních filmů, videoklipů a čtrnáct celovečerních filmů, mezi nimi oceňované Léto 1993 (2017, rež. Carla Simon Pipó; nominace na cenu Goya, Gaudí a Platino za nejlepší kameru), komedii No sé decir adiós (Nevím jak říct sbohem, 2017, rež. Lino Escalera), Magical Girl (2014, rež. Carlos Vermut; Zlatá mušle za nejlepší film a Stříbrná mušle za nejlepší režii – San Sebastián) nebo La Herida (Zraněná, 2013, rež. Jonás Trueba). Působí také jako lektor a vede lekce práce s kamerou. <
