Re co m m e ndatio ns • Sw iss parliam ent, Governm ent, the Sw iss Broadcasting Com pany (SRG) and the Sw iss New s Agency (SDA) should m aintain the good m edia service for traditional linguistic groups, w ho are better provided w ith m edia that their size dem ands. • Sw iss electronic and print m edia should integrate the different language groups better, e.g. w ith m ore com m on program m es or exchanged articles. • Radio and television in the Germ an part should not segregate language groups by using Germ an dialects, but integrate them by using High Germ an in im portant political and cultural program m es. • Sw iss parliam ent, Governm ent and m edia should integrate m igrants better by creating specific program m es in national broadcast and print products and by prom oting m igrants’ exile and hom e m edia. • Journalists should w ork for a lim ited tim e in another linguistic area or w ith a m igrants’ new spaper or radio.
