Director of Operations | 1st Season | Oral Roberts ‘10

Former all-conference standout Janae Voelker is in her first season as a member of the Oral Roberts women’s basketball coaching staff. In her position, Voelker assists with all administrative aspects of the Golden Eagle program, including team travel, film exchange, scheduling and practice coordination. Voelker was a four-year member of the Golden Eagle women’s basketball program and is one of only four players in program history to earn four all-conference designations. The Newton, Kan., native led ORU to the 2007 Mid-Continent Conference and 2008 Summit League Tournament Championships, making two appearances in the NCAA Tournament. She was also a key member of ORU’s 2009-10 squad, the first Golden Eagle club to capture the Summit League regular season title.

Statistically, Voelker’s best season was 2008-09, when she led the Golden Eagles with 16.5 points per game and was a 1st Team AllSummit League selection. For her career, Voelker scored 1,421 points, placing her as the 9thhighest scorer in Golden Eagle history and the 27th-leading scorer in Summit League history prior to the 2013-14 season. She also added 955 rebounds in her four season, placing 3rd on ORU’s career charts and 6th on the Summit League’s An incredibly versatile player, Voelker is one of only three ORU players to tally 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 250 assists in her career.

Director of Player Development | 1st Season | Oral Roberts ‘13

Legendary Golden Eagle point guard Jaci Bigham is in her first season as the director of player development with the Oral Roberts University women’s basketball program. In her new position on the staff, Bigham will serve in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the ORU team, including serving as the team’s academic liason, while pursuing her master’s degree and working as the athletic department’s director of athletic academics for eligibility Bigham was a four-year standout for the Golden Eagles, earning allconference recognition after her freshman, sophomore and senior seasons. The McAlester native guided the Golden Eagles to their first two Summit League regular season championships in 2009-10 and 2010-11, and she capped her career with a Southland Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament bid in 2012-13. Bigham burst on to the scene as a freshman in 2009-10, scoring 17.1

points per game and knocking down a Summit League single-season record 99 three-point field goals. A year later, Bigham helped ORU repeat as Summit League regular season champions and earned her second straight 1st Team All-Summit League selection despite tearing her ACL late in the season. The injury spurred Bigham to remake herself as one of the most dynamic floor generals in the country, and in 2012-13 she led the Southland Conference and finished 8th in NCAA Division I by tallying 6.7 assists per game. Still a savvy scorer as a senior, Bigham chipped in 12.4 points per game and led ORU to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in five seasons. Bigham finished her career with 1,505 points, 8th-most in ORU program history, and she ranks as the school’s career leader in assists, with 668. ORU COACHING STAFF
