J.L. Johnson Stadium J.L. Johnson Stadium is equipped with a fully functioning press box for media use. Located at the top of the grandstand area directly behind home plate, the press box gives media personnel access to three radio/TV booths and a working press area which seats up to 18 people. CREDENTIALS Requests for media credentials should be addressed to Eric Scott, ORU Athletic Media Relations, 7777 S. Lewis Ave., Tulsa, OK 74171, or by calling the Media Relations office at (918) 495‑6646. Requests can also be made via email at escott@oru.edu. Parking Media parking spaces at J.L. Johnson Stadium are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Eric Scott for more information. PHOTOGRAPHERS Photographers should make a special request for credentials. Photographers are allowed on the field in designated areas. These areas include foul territory beyond the dugouts on either side of the field. Please see Eric Scott for direction regarding these accessible areas. VISITING RADIO All stations wishing to broadcast games at J.L. Johnson Stadium must make requests through
Eric Scott at least one week prior to game date. One phone line will be provided for visiting radio. For long distance calls, broadcasters must use calling cards or make collect calls. GAME DAY SERVICES Prior to each home contest, game notes, rosters, stats and media guides will be available in the J.L. Johnson Stadium press box. Box scores will be available immediately following the game. Play‑by‑play accounts of the game can be provided upon request. Professional Scouts Team rosters and ORU stats will be provided upon request. TELEPHONE/INTERNET SERVICES Telephone lines and internet services for media are provided in the press box for use during and after the game. For any fax requests, contact Eric Scott for assistance. These lines do not have direct long distance access. The J.L. Johnson Press Box number is: (918) 495-7165. POSTGAME INTERVIEWS Post‑game interviews with coaches and/or players can be conducted on the field in front of ORU’s dugout following the game. Please contact Eric Scott for player requests for post‑game interviews. The ORU locker room and athletic training room facility is closed to all media personnel.
