Art is the lifeblood of civilization. Without art, we would lack the imagination to tackle, and creativity to solve our biggest problems. Our 7th issue takes an art journey that, refreshingly, shows the growth of the arts in Anguilla. The urge for self-expression through music and other performing arts, as well as visual arts has seemingly taken root at every level. We look at the mentors: the teachers sowing the seeds of creativity and nurturing the blossoming talent that exists. We also focus on the galleries – the curators of expression, and the important role they play in ultimately making the connection between the collectors - those who appreciate art and those making art: the creators. As usual, we hope you enjoy this issue just as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.
