What to do with old toys? Donate! Isn’t it exciting to get new toys during the holidays? We all look forward to new, fun stuff. But do you sometimes stop playing with your old toys once you get new ones? It’s kind of sad to see your toys sitting there not being used. But, there’s a way those toys can be fun for someone else — donating! When you donate, you give your toy to someone else to keep. Donations can help families who are having a hard time. They may not be able to get their kids new toys. But when you donate your old toys, they can get a toy that is new to them. They are just as excited to get your toy as you are when you get a new toy! And it feels good to help someone else!

A long winter’s nap Some animals rest more during the winter than others. In fact, they might sleep for months at a time. To get ready for a big, long snooze, they need to eat extra food. This lets them store up extra fat to live on while they sleep. Once they nod off, they go into a deep sleep. Their breathing also slows down, and it’s hard to wake them up. What word means a long winter’s nap in the animal world? Fill in the missing letters in the sleepy animal names. Then use the circled letters to get the answer. You’ll need to unscramble the letters, too!
