COUNTDOWN FOR HPKON 2017 The 8th National Hydraulic Pneumatic Convention and Exhibition (HPKON 2017), supported by Association of Fluid Power (AKDER) and Association of Industrial Automation Manufacturers (ENOSAD), will be held in İzmir between November 22-25.
he HPKON 2017 that will be organized in İzmir, Turkey, has won a name as the first and most comprehensive congress of the hydraulic pneumatic sector by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB). Six courses and 15 workshop will be organized during the organization. "HPKON IS COMPASS FOR INDUSTRY" Semih Kumbasar, Chairman of Executive Council of the Hydraulic Pneumatics Congress, said that since 1999, National Hydraulic Pneumatic Convention and Exhibition, which has been held as one of the important organizations of the industry, is the compass for industry. "In the complicated industry like fluid power sector, it is necessary to work in harmony with multiple engineering disciplines such as power and motion control of the industry. Creating common platforms in which experiences, knowledge and programs are shared and tested in the sectors is both laborious and demanding, but also a useful and necessary effort. As the phrase goes HPKON will carry this 'sacred' task with the peace and honor for the 8. times. As a result of the studies that started in 1997 and end in 1999, the event, which was organized by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers of Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects, will be held in İzmir and at Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Center. HPKON has reached the age of maturity and has become the industry's companion by fulfilling its expectations more than ever. HPKON also has been the leading organization to lay down the milestones of our industry with the help of competent and experienced staff." said Semih Kumbasar.
"GET READY FOR INDUSTRY 4.0 Before Semih Kumbasar end his speech, he underlined the importance of industry 4.0. ”We should get ready considering that large and comprehensive tasks are expected in the industry during Industry 4.0, the development and transformation required by tomorrow's technology in automation technology and industrial control systems. Overseeing our sectoral investment and training plans according to your future needs should be among the essentials to upgrade the scientific and technical levels of our staff. For this purpose, we as machine manufacturers must cooperate closely with the universities in all fields that will affect the change of Industry 4.0.” he said.
