A community searching, exploring, and learning together what it means to be disciples of Jesus while embracing the mystery and grace of God.

LETTER FROM THE CULTIVATOR +++ ++ A Year in Review ++ Dear Friends, It has been nearly one year since I began this adventure as Organic Faith mission developer. Over the course of the past year we have journeyed together as a community in so many strange and unique ways. Through our weekly faith conversations at Pub Church we have thought together about God and faith. On a monthly basis we’ve lived out our call to serve those in need through Habitat for Humanity. In recent months we’ve been developing the service aspect of our community even more through our developing partnership with the Resurrection Lutheran Church food pantry. Our monthly Celebration Meals continue to be an filling get together to simply slow down and be. Through this sharing of food, fellowship, and conversation we have been growing as a community and partaking in the most ancient expression of the Christian church: a shared meal. What’s next in the year ahead? We’ve been blessed to have taken this past year to really invest together in these relationships; to dig deeper with one another and think about our faith in new ways. In the months ahead we’ll continue this

investment in community through the development of a network of House Churches. We’ll also continue to use the gifts of technology in an effort to build community in unique and creative ways. Finally, in the year ahead, Organic Faith will spend a lot of time exploring Christian spiritual practices and ways that we as a community and as individuals can more fully live as disciples of Jesus in this world. As a member of Organic Faith, I am so excited for what lies ahead. Peace and Grace, Nate

Organic Faith is setting out to be Church in the 21st century. It is a community that wants to meet people where they are, creating a faith community based not on what someone else thinks it should be but based on the needs of the community. It all happens organically, so faith can grow through the Holy Spirit and not through outlines and models.
