I am a recent multi-disciplinary graduate from Victoria University of Wellington, in industrial and media design. My passions lie within both disciplines as the two are often integrated. digital fabrication, particularly 3D printing, and typography and jewellery design. I am highly motivated with an ever ready smile but above all else I value my eye for detail, creativity and optimistic demeanour as I believe this gives me the capability to work and succeed in any environment. I can't wait to enter the creative workforce to pursue my passions! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me on:

READY TO TAKE ON THE CREATIVE WORLD

DO Good Manifesto Kit Graphic+ print+ branding

The “Do Good manifesto is not a about a set list of rules; the do's and the don'ts, it doesn't dictate how we should design or how we should live. It is a suggestion, a motivation, an inspiration for action towards greater good, to make our actions count. Whether it's in the way we design or live, we can always make sustainability of the world. As designers we are catalysts in the change of how consumers buy and think. The kit is for the consumers of the world. The kit is made from fully recyclable and things that will encourage them to do little acts of kindness/goodness around them. A tea towel - a reminder of the do good attitude, seeds for self-sustainable living, gratitude problems to third world problems, a repair kit and a reward bead system. "Do Good" is not just a manifesto you read and put aside, it is a way of life.

Spatiu

industrial+ Furniture+ chaise

Spatiu is a conceptual space saving piece of furniture. a modern environment but allows the users to step inside and escape from the world into a relaxing space. The pod is made with a warm padded material to create a comfortable enclosure. The two sleeves can be wrapped around so the user almost as if they’re giving themselves a hug. The pod is secured to the ceiling and when the user leans against the sides the domed base allows them to rock and sway creating a greater sense on relaxation and comfort. Done in collaboration with Toby Mannis, Emily Steel, Henry Roberts, Stacey Thomas.

kaloxy playsuit fashion+ interactive+ arduino + electronics

The name Kaloxy originates from the word ‘galaxy’ and the greek word ‘kalos’ meaning beautiful. Kaloxy is a playsuit that takes kaleidoscopes and how it produces ever changing colours and forms. A combination of mirrors and LEDs are used to project patterns into space and the onto garment itself. The pockets are lined with mirrors so that the light pockets and into the environment. Controlled by an accelerometer, the wearable piece changes color produced by sharp body movements imitating the shaking of a kaleidoscope to trigger a random effervescent visual luminosity. flight epaulets interactive+ fashion+ Arduino+ digital fabrication+ electronics

fLight is a sculptural, interactive pair of epaulets that references the laser cut, sanded acrylic pieces and embedded underneath these pieces are a series of red and blue LEDs, controlled by an accelerometer and arduino. Based on the movements of the wearer, the lights will shimmer and sparkle according to the speed; the faster the wearer moves, the faster the lights will change.

Pending... interactive+ Lamp+ industrial

Pending‌ is an interactive lamp that is intended for use as the user drifts off to sleep; pending the time between reality and dreams. A more sophisticated version of a night light, the lamp is switched on by swinging the long stainless steel rod and with the use of an Aruduino and accelerometer, the light dims to a soft glow according to the speed at which the pendulum is swinging. Standing at 1.5m tall the resulting aesthetic is elegant and modern and can be used as a feature when mounted onto any large blank wall.

waterlines 3d printer industrial+ Arduino+ digital fabrication

Waterlines is a 3D printer that uses water as a medium to create forms. Inspired by the natural freezing cycles of lakes and rivers as they create breathtaking forms and spaces. As water levels rise and fall during the winter months, ice layers are formed at different with varying thicknesses, clarity and textures. Waterlines mimics this process mechanically through a more controlled manner. Using air bubbles to control the shapes created and by draining the water at periodic times, a three dimensional form is created through this process. Despite the mechanical recreation of this natural process, there is still an element of variability; recreating the natural imperfections of ice formation and yields truly unique objects. Done in collaboration with Andy Romero, Bryce McLeod, Tom Chau, Simeon Wilson, Stefanie Keyworth, Rudi Lategan
