I hope that all of you are enjoying your Spring and taking full advantage of your Club’s excellent facilities. We are very excited about the upcoming activities and projects planned for this year.

April was a good month for the Club. We had more than 80 players participate in our Masters Splash Golf Tournament. Congratulations to the winning teams: Gross Division - Todd Fields /Eddie Estochen, Net Division - Herb Martin/Jerry Buckner, and the Best Net + Masters Player Division - Tom Ritt/Charlie Campbell/Matt Kuchar. We also introduced our Couples Twilight League on April 18. These non-competitive events are meant to combine golf, fun, and social camaraderie for golfers of all skill levels. The Twilight League shotgun starts every Thursday at 5:30pm. The cost for each event is $5 per player plus cart fee. The entry fee includes a $5 discount certificate from Chef Daniel’s special Twilight Menu. Happy Hour prices will be given for the participants. It is a wonderful way to meet new friends and other Members of the Club. You may also invite guests to join you to complete your foursome if you would like to “show off” your Club. After receiving feedback from Members, we have reopened the golf course and Golf Shop on Mondays. The Golf Shop will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Tee times will begin at 8:30am. The driving range will be available from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Carts must be returned by 5:00pm. The rest of the Clubhouse will be closed on Mondays. There are several improvement projects around the Club currently in progress. The restrooms at the Pool and the 3 golf courses will be completely renovated by the end of May. The bridges on the Laurel Golf Course will be stained and have rails put on them. These are just a few of the many improvements that are planned. A Club is as good as its Members and Staff. The pride and positive attitudes that are demonstrated every day do not go unnoticed. I would like to recognize Mr. Rusty Findley for his generous donation of a truck load of sand to help our golfers fill their divots. Many of our Members ask us for ways that they can help with the golf course. We are most appreciative of these kind gestures. During the month of May there are several golf outings on the schedule. We hope that this does not inconvenience your golf. If it does then please contact the Golf Shop for reciprocal arrangements at nearby golf courses. The Membership of a Club is its lifeline. Our Membership Department is working very hard to gain new Members which will improve the overall health of the Club. In addition to our efforts, your effort can have a tremendous impact. I am simply asking that if you are enjoying the Club and like some of the changes, that you do not keep it a secret. Your word of mouth is one of our most effective marketing tools. I am certain that your friends and neighbors would enjoy being a part of the Club as much as you do. Lastly, thank you for being a Member. CLUB NEWS & EVENTS THE POOL IS BACK IN ACTION Starting Tuesday, May 7, the Pool will be open Monday - Saturday from 10:00am - 8:00pm and Sunday from 1:00 - 6:00pm. Lifeguards will be on staff beginning at 2:00pm May 7 - June 3. Beginning June 4, lifeguards will be on staff starting at 10:00am. The Snack Shack will no longer be available. Parents are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Vending machines will be available. The Pub and Grill are also open for Lunch. We offer Member Adult Swim on Sundays from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Swim at your own risk. Members may invite guests to the Pool. $3 charge per guest.

She always greets the Members with a warm smile and provides exceptional service. Cayla recently went on a mission trip with her church to help those in Belize. WATER AEROBICS Men and women water aerobics will be back in action In the pool starting June 3! Water aerobics is a wonderful way to start the day. Increase your flexibility , body strength, balance and cardiovascular fitness and stay cool while you do it. You will need good water shoes, a noodle and hand buoys.
