GRATITUDE… make it YOUR attitude Did you know that being grateful in EVERY SITUATION you face brings more happiness into your life? Even the not very pleasant ones such as sickness, the loss of someone you love or maybe a change in a relationship. If you stop and look there is always something to be grateful for. It’s all in YOUR attitude. We all know what it is like to wait. We do it all the time. Holly Whitcomb in the “Seven Spiritual Gifts of Waiting” stated that she believes “that we are blessed with insight when life circumstances put us on hold.” She challenges us “The next time you find yourself waiting impatiently and feeling that you deserve better, pause. Your waiting is offering you a choice: Bemoan your circumstances or be grateful for your blessings. Remember what is going well. Breathe in a little gratitude…. When we are waiting, we are vulnerable-and our hearts are open. Therein lies the gift: Our open hearts teach us to notice the blessings of small things we would have never noticed before….” Gratitude can do so much for your life. It turns obstacles into opportunity, it moves us beyond entitlement and it opens our eyes to the blessings of small things. I was chatting with my friend Meg over the Thanksgiving holiday about my Gratitude theme for 2013. We both commented that with everything that is happening around us each day we’ve noticed that people are doing a lot of whining. And that included the two of us! She remarked, “When I find myself complaining I STOP and say, ‘give me five’ NOW!” Yes, I thought the same thing, push-ups. But then I would be complaining about doing the push-ups. And then I would have to do five more and even though my abs and triceps would benefit from this, would it help me to focus on the blessings that I am grateful for? Probably not! We laughed and what she meant was “give me five things you are GRATEFUL for NOW!” This puts a whole new perspective on a situation and you will be amazed at how it changes your attitude. So I am asking YOU to take the GRATITUDE CHALLENGE with me for 2013. When you find yourself waiting, complaining, feeling entitled or challenged by some obstacle – “STOP and GIVE ME FIVE” and make GRATITUDE YOUR ATTITUDE.

Chris Mowers, PGA Director of Golf Chris is originally from Plymouth, New Hampshire, where he grew up and at the age of 12 began working in the golf industry. He worked in golf course maintenance throughout high school, including the construction of the back 9 holes at Nippo Lake. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management and Business Administration, Chris moved to southern California to attend the Golf Academy of San Diego. Upon graduation in 2002, he began his career at Morgan Run Resort and Club as an Assistant Golf Professional, during which time he completed a three level apprenticeship to earn his “Class A” PGA Membership in 2006. Chris transferred back to the east coast in April 2007 to become the First Assistant Golf Professional at Ipswich Country Club and was promoted to Head Golf Professional the following year. Since becoming Nippo Lake’s Head Professional in 2009, Chris has taken the Member tournaments to the next level and created new events such as the Annual Nippo Lake Cup and the Annual Nippo Lake FourBall. In addition, he introduced the Get Golf Ready Program and has developed a reputation as a highly regarded Golf Instructor. Coming into his fifth season at Nippo Lake and second season at Rochester CC, Chris is eager to continue to grow the game at both facilities through increased playing opportunities and teaching programs. Please let Chris know if there is anything he and/or his staff can do to improve your experience at Nippo Lake Golf Club. Listed below are the PGA Programs available throughout the season and look for more information on the website as the summer progresses: PGA Trade-Up Program - April 2013 The PGA Trade-In Network presents ongoing opportunities for golfers to trade in obsolete clubs for credit to modernize and purchase new equipment more economically. Bring in your used equipment and based on fair market values from the PGA.com Value Guide, the National Standard for Golf Club Value, you will be issued a credit towards the purchase of new clubs for the 2013 season. PGA Free Lesson Day – Sunday, May 19, 2013 Last May, 3,826 PGA and LPGA Professionals nationwide gave more than 61,500 FREE LESSONS. From all indications, 2013 PGA Free Lesson Month will be even better! On Sunday, May 19th, Chris and his teaching staff will be giving FREE 10-minute lessons from 10am – 2pm. Visit the Pro Shop to make an appointment. Sign up for your lesson beginning Sunday, April 28th.

Since the launch of Patriot Golf Day in 2007, more than $9 million dollars has been raised and more than 2,100 scholarships have been awarded to children and spouses of military men and women killed or disabled while serving our Great Nation. This year, Patriot Golf Day will be held over Labor Day Weekend. The goal for participating facilities is to collect a $1 donation from every golfer (in addition to the normal greens fee) in support of the Folds of Honor Foundation. Get Golf Ready – in Five Days If you have ever thought about picking up a golf club, either for the first time or returning once again, you can make golf your sport of a lifetime. The Get Golf Ready Program is designed to teach you in five short lessons everything you’ll need to know to step onto a golf course and get out to play with confidence. Get Golf Ready LEVEL 2 – in Five Days This clinic will go into more comprehensive detail in each of the teaching levels. The detailed instruction will include putting strategy, pitching and chipping “controls”, trouble shots, techniques for distance, and course management. The majority of the lessons will be conducted on the golf course while learning how to navigate and “behave” on the course. Junior and Advanced Junior Camps Chris will be conducting 1 Junior Camp for young beginning golfers between the ages of 7 and 11 years old. The camp instruction will be based around beginning golf FUN-damentals, putting, chipping, and full swing, in addition to etiquette and character values. In addition, Chris will be conducting 1 Advanced Camp and although there is no age restriction, these camps are best suited for students who have been in previous junior or advanced junior camps.

MEMBERSHIP PERKS & NEW INFO “Sister Act” Reciprocal with Rochester Country Cub Over the winter, Nippo Lake Golf Club adopted a sister, THE ROCHESTER COUNTRY CLUB. Your Membership will be greatly enhanced because of the added benefits listed below. NLGC Members are able to play in all MEMBER EVENTS at Rochester Country Club except for the Club Championship and Member-Member. Play at your “Sister” Club for a reduced rate of $15.00 which includes your cart. NLGC Members are able to make a tee time 7 days in advance for ANYTIME during the week and AFTER 12PM on weekends and holidays. However, you are able to call 48 hours in advance for available tee times before 12PM on the weekends. The Reciprocal Rate of $15.00 is limited to one time per week and the week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. Also, Tournament dates DO NOT COUNT towards your one time per week restriction. For example, if Nippo Lake is hosting an outing on Friday morning, Members are able to play Rochester Country Club for $15.00 that morning AND allowed to play again during that week for the $15.00 fee.

General Information This handbook is intended to be a complete chronological listing of Nippo Lake Golf Club tournament events and a description of league activity for the 2013 golf season. We hope that you will find this book informative and helpful in planning your golf activities for the season. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding any of the events, please feel free to contact Management or Pro Shop personnel. All players and their guests are required to register in the Pro Shop prior to the start of their round. PLEASE DO NOT START OFF THE BACK NINE WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE PRO SHOP. Your GHIN handicap is not included in your 2013 membership. There is a $30.00 charge to activate your GHIN. Please see the Pro Shop if you did not initially pay your $30.00 with your membership fee. An active GHIN is necessary to play in certain NLGC tournaments. See pages 19 & 20 for Tournament Policies and Procedures. It is the responsibility of each member to post all scores into the computer system. Please post your scores ONLY when playing by USGA rules. It is important to keep handicap information up to date. It is possible to post single 9-hole rounds, which will help to keep everyone’s handicap current. (WHEN POSTING A NINE HOLE SCORE, please make sure to follow the directions on the computer screen and click the appropriate box – NINE HOLES - and then whether you played the front or back, otherwise your score will be posted as an 18 hole score which will distort your handicap.) The use of handicaps during tournament competition is a vital part of fairness to your fellow golfers. If you are unsure of how to post your score, please ask the Pro Shop for their assistance. Please do your part to maintain an accurate handicap. The NHGA and NHWGA provide a free service to active golfers called eREVISION. GHIN will now automatically send golfers their updated handicap indexes via email. You may play from any tee box that you are comfortable playing from. Please make sure that when you post your score, it reflects the tee boxes from which you played. UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, DURING ALL

TOURNAMENTS, THE MEN WILL PLAY FROM THE MIDDLE (white) TEES AND THE WOMEN FROM THE FORWARD (gold) TEES. The definition of an active current GHIN handicap for the 2013 golf season is considered to be ten (10) 18-hole SCORES POSTED DURING THE 2012 and/or 2013 SEASON. Scores prior to 2012 will not be considered when determining an active current GHIN handicap. State law prohibits any member, guest or non-member from bringing alcoholic beverages to the restaurant or onto the course. There will be no coolers allowed on the course. A beverage cart is available and will provide alcohol, beer, soda, sandwiches and snacks. Also a reminder, according to State Law NO ALCOHOL can be on the golf cart or person when crossing from the 1 st to 2nd hole and the 9th to 10th hole. NO ALCOHOL is allowed in the parking lot. For your convenience receptacles are located leaving the 1st green, 9th green and 18th green. Please drink responsibly and obey the law. Thank you for your cooperation. Tee times are strongly recommended. To keep our green fees and membership rates affordable, we need everyone to be more responsible and considerate when making their tee times. Members may make starting times up to seven (7) days in advance. When making starting times either on the phone or at the Pro Shop, the Pro Shop staff will ask the names of the persons you will be playing with. Tee times are at a premium. If you make a tee time for four (4) people, please bring 4 people. If you are unable to provide 4 players or unable to make your scheduled tee time, please give the Pro Shop at least 24-hour notice so they can make adjustments. Proper golf club attire is required and will be strictly enforced. NO short-shorts, cut offs, muscle shirts, halter-tops or bathing suits. **Jeans can be worn but must not have stains or holes. NLGC is a public golf club. We ask that our members demonstrate exemplary behavior when on the premises and we expect them to be an outstanding example for the general public. Please refrain from foul language, throwing clubs, excessive drinking and PLEASE adhere to the dress code. METAL SPIKES ARE PROHIBITED. If you have not already made the change to spikeless shoes, please stop by the Pro Shop. For a minimal charge, they will be happy to change them for you.

Nippo Lake Golf Club WILL NOT be responsible for loss of personal property by members or their guests. CARTS will be available as daylight permits, based on the time of sunset. All members playing in non-sponsored Nippo Lake Golf Club tournaments (Barrington Chamber of Commerce, Federal Managers, Navy Shipyard, Musto Memorial, etc.) will be required to pay the total tournament entry fee and will not be able to deduct the cost of the green fees or cart fees. All suggestions, other matters of concern and complaints should be addressed to Management or Director of Golf. A suggestion box is located in the hallway outside the Pro Shop or visit our website to let us know how we are doing. Your suggestions & comments are GREATLY APPRECIATED! There is a plethora of information available to all of us and unfortunately, not enough time to digest it all, so…ONCE AGAIN WE ARE ASKING, if you read or hear of a new idea, we would greatly appreciate you sharing it with us. Read it, CUT IT OUT… Hear it, WRITE IT DOWN… an original thought, SHARE IT… then drop it off in the Pro Shop. WANT THE KUDOS FOR YOUR IDEA? Don’t forget to include your name and phone number. In an effort to “go green” the NLGC updated monthly calendars can be found on our website. Please reference these calendars for any updates, sign-up dates and scheduled outside tournaments. This membership book will be available online as a PDF file ONLY. We have printed a limited number of 2013 books for those of you who like the “hands on” approach or do not have computer access. Tournament evaluation sheets will once again be available in the hallway outside the Pro Shop. YOUR FEEDBACK IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL so… please take the time to fill one out after each event.

DRIVING RANGE: Due to the proximity of the back nine, ONLY SHORT IRONS (with a maximum distance of 175 yards) will be allowed on the driving range. The driving range is closed Wednesdays at 5pm to Thursdays at 9am for maintenance and periodically for clinics and junior camps during the season, so please check with the Pro Shop before use. No more than four (4) players per group will be allowed on the course at any time, unless permitted by the Director of Golf and/or Pro Shop staff.

The practice holes for the junior camps and adult clinics will once again be located at the bottom of the driving range. The driving range will be closed when Chris Mowers and Rick Rogers are using the area for instruction which will be marked by a sign. Thank you for your cooperation. Any gift certificates won during tournaments cannot be applied to your membership fees and yearly cart rental. Gift certificates CAN BE USED towards merchandise, daily green fees and daily cart fees. PLEASE try to use your gift certificates by the end of the current year. If lightning is in the area, all play should cease. You should immediately head to the clubhouse. Golf carts are not lightning proof. The Pro Shop staff will make a reasonable effort to inform you (blowing air horn) of impending dangerous weather. We do not expect our employees to endanger themselves in attempting to notify you to seek shelter, so please use your own discretion. Under no circumstances are the regular greens, tees or fairways to be used for practice. The Golf Professional in conjunction with the Golf Course Superintendent shall determine times when course conditions prohibit play as well as restricting the use of carts. All membership fees are non-refundable. Please be patient with the maintenance crew. They take pride in their job and they work hard to keep the course in beautiful condition. They deserve the same courtesy that you would expect from them. Information in this handbook is subject to change. For detailed information regarding each tournament, please consult the Pro Shop staff as the event approaches.

Please remember this PACE OF PLAY RULE: Your position on the golf course is behind the group in front of you, NOT in front of the group behind you. Keep your pace of play according to the times on the scorecard. Slower groups must follow the direction of the Pro Shop Staff or Course Ranger. This may include picking up golf balls and skipping play until your group is correctly spaced behind the preceding group.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Junior members of Nippo Lake Golf Club are welcome to play golf anytime during the week. However, on Saturday and Sunday before 2:00 PM, they must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. As always, tee times are highly recommended. Junior members are expected to dress in proper golf attire. PLEASE NO shortshorts, cut offs, muscle shirts, halter-tops, bathing suits or jeans of any kind. Compliments of the NHGA and the NHWGA, juniors up to 18 years of age do not have to pay for their Golf Handicap Index Number (GHIN). All juniors are encouraged to post their scores and establish a GHIN. If you are unfamiliar with posting your scores please ask the Pro Shop for help. The junior league will begin Wednesday, July 10, 2013 with tee times beginning at 1:00 PM. Please pick up your registration form in the Pro Shop or online at www.nippolake.com and email Chris Mowers with any questions and/or concerns at chris@nippolake.com . Junior League Reminders        

There will be no initial cost this year to join the league or play in the league. Juniors will pay $5.00 each week and all monies will go towards weekly prizes for the specialty event winners. Juniors are responsible for having their own golf supplies (tees, golf balls, ball markers, etc.) during league play and MUST WALK AND CARRY THEIR CLUBS. Parent volunteers are always welcome to help supervise play. Cart will be given only if needed and Junior MUST NOT RIDE. The first week’s format will be a scramble in divisions based on age. The following weeks will be divisions based on ability and each week will be a different format. There will be 3 divisions: Par / Birdie / Eagle All members of the league MUST call the PRO SHOP no later than 3 PM the SUNDAY prior to the WEDNESDAY play to secure a Tee Time. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you don’t call you cannot play the following Wednesday. Tee Times begin at 1:00 PM and your child should be ready to be picked up exactly 2 hours after their assigned tee time.

Juniors between the ages of 7 and 17 will play in the Junior Club Championship. Please see page 30 for details. All Junior Members are encouraged to play in the Junior Club Championship. All Juniors wishing to participate must have an active GHIN. Please see Tournament Policies, page 20 for the definition of an active GHIN.

Be conscious of courteous play and the grounds crew. Repair all ball marks, replace all divots (buckets with divot mix are available at the tees and on the carts), and keep play up to pace. Preferred lies – lift, clean and place within 6 inches no closer to the hole in your own fairway. All stonewalls are considered integral parts of the golf course, they are not obstructions: therefore there is no free lift. The entire cemetery is to be treated as an immovable obstruction. You may take relief, one club length from the nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole. Free lift no closer to the hole from all stone ditches. Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions. Tournament Policies and Procedures Information about upcoming events and announcements will be posted in the hallway at “Information Central� no later than two (2) weeks prior to the sign-up deadline. Sign-up deadlines for all club tournaments have been established to aid in the smooth facilitation of these events. If for some reason you are unable to make the sign-up deadline, the Pro Shop will put you on a standby list. If a cancellation should occur, the Pro Shop will notify those on the standby list in the order in which they signed up. Payment for all tournaments is appreciated when you sign up. For your convenience, please feel free to pay tournament entry fees ahead of time when it might be more convenient for your budget. (See individual tournaments for appropriate fees.) We will credit your account for the amount you pay and then charge your account when the tournament is held. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET A RECEIPT! Information regarding cost and choice of meals following certain tournaments will be posted no later than 2 weeks prior to the sign-up deadline. When an A-B-C-D scramble format tournament is being played, every effort will be made to make each team fair. The teams for these tournaments will be established by computer pairings. A-B-C-D designations for the scramble formatted tournaments will be determined based on the number of people who sign up and their handicaps. In order to guarantee a prompt start to all shotgun tournaments, please arrive forty-five (45) minutes before the scheduled event to receive your scorecard and starting hole assignment. For tournament play, the maximum handicap for men will be 36 and for women it will be 39 unless otherwise stated. USGA Rules apply to all tournament play. NLGC will be hosting outside tournaments during the upcoming season, some that will be 8:00 AM shotguns. As a courtesy to our members, anyone wishing to play that day is invited to play during the shotgun, space permitting. Please let the Pro Shop know that you are interested in playing and we will notify you of availability 5 days prior to the event. Tournament Policies and Procedures (continued) For Stroke Play events, all tournament scorecards must be signed, dated and attested. For Match Play events, the state of the match must be communicated to the Pro Shop immediately following the determination of a winner. An active current GHIN handicap is considered to be ten (10) 18-hole scores posted during the 2012 and/or 2013 season. Years prior to 2012 will not be considered. Guests for the Men’s, Ladies’ Member Guest and Mixed Member Guest may submit five 18 hole 2013 rounds from any course (with course slope and rating) and we will compute a handicap for the event. All members competing in the Member Guest, Member-Member, and Club Championship MUST HAVE a current active GHIN handicap. Any gift certificates won during tournaments cannot be applied to your membership fees or yearly cart rental. Gift certificates CAN BE USED towards merchandise, daily green fees and daily cart fees. NLGC gift certificates will not be honored in the restaurant. Please try to use your gift certificates within a year from the date issued. Any gift certificates donated by NLGC for door prizes, raffles, etc., may be used for golf fees only and cannot be redeemed for merchandise. FORMAT: Individual stroke play – 9 Hole Net Score – 100% handicap HOW DOES IT WORK? The first time you want to qualify for the ladder, you must sign up for the tournament and pay your ten dollars ($10.00) unless you paid for the ladder when you paid your membership. Play your round or rounds, and drop your dated, signed and attested scorecard along with the tee boxes you played that day, into the ladder score box located by the computer. Don’t forget to post your score before you put your scorecard in the box. Each ladder score will NOT be considered a “tournament score” and should be posted to the computer without a “T”. The Pro Shop will calculate your best 9 hole net score (RELATIVE TO PAR – plus or minus) for that round or rounds based on your current GHIN handicap. That will then determine whether you make the ladder.

HOW MANY RUNGS ARE ON EACH LADDER? There are ten rungs on each ladder represented by the 10 lowest net scores (RELATIVE TO PAR – plus or minus). Names ONLY will be listed alphabetically, (NOT SCORES) so you won’t know whom you are going to “push off the ladder.” Only the Pro Shop will know and they have been sworn to secrecy. You will need to check the ladder list periodically to see if someone has “pushed you off.”

CAN I BE KNOCKED OFF THE LADDER? Once all the rungs are filled, your position on the ladder can be altered if another player posts a net score that is lower than yours. If you were on the tenth (10 th) rung, (the highest net score of the 10) yes, you would come tumbling down.

CAN I TRY TO GET BACK ON THE LADDER IF REMOVED OR CAN I TRY TO MOVE HIGHER ON THE LADDER? Yes, you can qualify as many times as you would like, at any time during the week or weekend, at no additional cost. Just remember you must drop your dated, signed and attested scorecard along with the tee boxes you played that day, into the ladder score box located by the computer. The object of this season long event is to stay on the ladder until September 1, 2013. At the opening of business on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, the top 10 scores and ties will be posted. All “young ladies’” green fees will be donated by Nippo Lake Golf Club when accompanied by a member or paying adult.

Junior girls playing golf has increased about 20% since 1998. However, the percentage of junior golfers has decreased slightly. If you are unfamiliar with scoring this format PLEASE just record the GROSS SCORES ONLY and the computer will calculate your scores and points.

Senior Club Championship – Men Age 55 and over Depending on participation the Senior Club Championship may consist of ONLY 8 men and 8 women. You must declare if you are competing in the Senior Club Championship prior to the qualifying round. If there are 16 or more people who sign up for the Senior Club Championship, a 1st Flight will be established. Anyone qualifying for the Senior Club Championship or Senior 1st Flight will play a qualifying round (stroke play) from the middle tees Saturday, July 20, 2013. The QUALIFYING ROUND foursomes and tee times will be based on handicap and assigned by the Pro Shop.

All other flights will be seeded according to their handicap.

Cut off for handicap flights will be based on participation.

Participants will be required to have an active current GHIN handicap. The most recent GHIN handicap revision on July 15th will be used to determine the Flights.

Your seeding round must be played with someone who is or has played his/her seeding round.

Your scorecard must be stamped in the Pro Shop prior to the beginning of your round and then signed, dated and attested when returned to the Pro Shop to be considered an official seeding round. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

Ties for the 15th place in the Championship Qualifier will play a sudden death playoff starting immediately after the final group finishes. All other ties within the top 15 players will be broken by the USGA Match of Cards – last 9, last 6, last 3, 18th hole.

Because there may not be more than eight (8) players within a flight, if your score is not one of the 8 lowest for your flight, you will be seeded in the next flight down based on your seeding round score.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (continued)

The NLGC prior year CLUB CHAMPIONS (Elaine Pierce and Terry Conroy) will automatically be seeded 1st in the Championship Flight. However, the 2012 Men’s and Ladies’ Club Champion WILL HAVE TO PLAY THE MATCH PLAY ROUND against their opponent sometime during the above mentioned week.

Once you are seeded within a flight and you decide that you do not wish to compete, the opponent will receive an automatic bye.

Number of flights and times to play may change depending on participation.

After the 1st Match Play round of competition, which begins on Sunday, July 28th, anyone withdrawing without a medical and/or legitimate excuse, will not be allowed to compete in the following year’s club championship.

Order of play will be determined by the number of flights.

Due to the large discrepancies in indexes of the women who play at Nippo Lake, the Women’s Club Championship Division may consist of fewer ladies in each flight WITH MORE FLIGHTS in hopes of encouraging more participation. All ladies who wish to compete in the Club Championship in flights based on their indexes are urged to sign up.

Please do not sign up to play in the Club Championship if you will not be able to commit to playing in ALL match play rounds.

Each team is made up of 4 ladies, A-B-C-D players. Everyone plays their ball through the hole. When the hole is completed, select the two lowest gross scores and the two lowest net scores of the foursome. You may use the same person’s score for both gross and net. Monies raised from the day’s Specialty Events will go to a charity to be determined.

Holes #1 - #9 format will be Individual Match Play.* Holes #10 - #18 format will be 2 Person Best Ball.* *Format of holes subject to change. Two player men’s team vs. two player ladies’ team. 80% of each player’s current GHIN handicap will be used to determine the teams. Teams and foursomes will be computer generated. Teams/foursomes and hole assignments will be posted on Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1PM. Teams compete on a hole-by-hole basis scoring 1 point for winning the hole and ½ point for halving the hole. WINNERS ARE BASED ON TOTAL POINTS. Cards will be stroked for each team before the event. Please try to sign up with someone from the opposite sex. Please let the Pro Shop know if you can’t find someone and they will try and locate someone for you. This tournament is open to both members with an active GHIN handicap and guests with either an active GHIN handicap OR five 18-hole 2013 scores from any course with the course slope and rating prior to 8/18/13 and we will compute your handicap. You will not necessarily play with the person you sign up with, as the computer will be used to determine teams and foursomes based on handicap.

9-HOLE LADDER SHOOT-OUT TOURNAMENT DATE: Sunday, September 8, 2013 TIME:

FORMAT:

Individual Stroke Play – 9 Hole Net Shootout

100% HANDICAP

This is a net event and cards will be stroked prior to the tournament. THE LOWEST HANDICAP PLAYER WILL PLAY SCRATCH GOLF AND ALL OTHER PARTICIPANT’S CARDS WILL BE STROKED ACCORDINGLY. Ten or more players, depending on whether there are any ties, assemble on the first (1st) tee. All players in the group play the first hole and the player with the highest Net Score is eliminated. Because only 9 players continue to the next hole, if there is a tie for the highest score, or if more than 9 persons remain, the players involved then have a “chip off”. After chipping, the player(s) whose ball(s) are closest to the hole, ON THE GREEN, continue to the next hole. Play continues with one player being eliminated on each hole until 9 holes are completed. The survivor is the winner.

PRIZES: Depending on participation, players in the shoot-out will have a chance to share the amount of money in Pro Shop Credit. If you make the ladder, YOU MUST PLAY in the shootout to have a chance to share in the Prize Money.
