BREAKFAST Enjoy a morning stroll down the Huntington Beach Pier, and when you hit the end, have breakfast at Ruby’s Diner. Try the French Toast or Original Malted Waffle combos, all served until 11:30 a.m. MORNING Pack some sand toys and baby powder, and build a sandcastle at Huntington City Beach next to the famous pier. LUNCH Who wants pizza?! There’s plenty of pie to choose from in Downtown Huntington Beach, including BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Pizza Lounge, Imola, Thunder Burgerz & Pizza, and a quaint little joint called Zero Zero 39 Pizzeria, serving authentic Roman pizza. AFTERNOON Explore our many playgrounds! Try Lake Park in Downtown at the corner of Lake and 11th streets or Peter Green Park near Main Street and Garfield Avenue. Both feature colorful playgrounds with play structures for toddlers and bigger kids, swings, and picnic tables. Note—no restrooms at Peter Green Park.
