“Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense. There is nothing love cannot face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of them all is love. 1 Corinthians 13:4

ROGER WHITEFALCON Status: Engaged How long have you been together? First date Jan 10 2011 and together nearly constantly since then. How did you meet? Kamalin: I spotted Roger across the crowd at the Miss Mohna Lisa Couture 2011 contest. He was standing alone and I IM’d him. He was afk so we didn’t actually speak until the next night when he took me dancing. Was the best random IM I’ve ever made. What do you both love about each other? Roger: Kam is a wonderful lady - busy in RL and SL and yet so very caring. I love so many things about her that go well beyond her great looks. She is smart, even tempered, and knows herself so well. She is talented in her SL work and is a treasure that I am reminded of daily. Kamalin: I love that Roger isn’t afraid to share his feelings. He’s very open and warm and within 5 minutes of meeting him I felt like I found home. He’s an adventurer and found several activities for us to do that I had never tried previously in SL. He’s grounded and intelligent and makes me feel like the most cherished woman in the world :)

Angelik: It’s hard to believe in avatars love when you don’t have that experience. Neither of us have plans to turn this feeling into RL, but all I can say is that Didier is my other half... I feel complete with him. Didier : What i love about Angelik is that he really knows what in wants. He is honest and true in his feelings. I really love his personality and the way that he never tries to change me ... he loves me as i am, and i love him as he is. He is beautiful inside out and really is my angel :)

Jewell: My sister Aliyeh tp’d River in for an interview and we got to talking...he seemed pretty friendly and nice and easy to hang with, we got along so well that I invited him out shopping and we’ve been inseparable ever since. What do you both love about each other? River: There are many things..making a list of them would just discount the things I fail to mention so with that said..I love everything about her. Simply put, I couldn’t say I love her if I don’t love all that she is. She is highly intelligent, funny, overly caring, honest and above all things willing to put herself last. I admire that about her most, her’s something I can understand and relate to all too well. I love her because she is mine. Jewell: I’ve never met anyone like River before, he’s quite unique in many ways and has an air and grace about him that I just love so much. As I like to say - Wyeth danced into my life and swept me off my feet! Wyeth: Ariadne ask me about doing some pics for her, so I sent her a copy of my portfolio. We talked for sometime and I asked her if she’d like to dance, she accepted and lighting struck. What do you both love about each other? Ariadne: We were both dancing in a rock club, Hot Licks. As I like to say - Wyeth danced into my life and swept me off my feet! Wyeth: The brightness of her smile, the ease of her being. The counter of her optimism that’s balances my pragmaticism. Her sense of adventure is in tune with mine. Most of all she understands me for who I am and inspires me to be what I might. She devoted, passionate and giving, a perfect match for this man. What do you both love about each other? Rylan: Sixx is the most loving and supportive man I have ever met in SL. He has an amazing way of making me smile. Not only is the man talented, he is down-to-earth, caring and one of the best friends a girl can have. Sixx: It’s very hard to maintain a “virtual” relationship. I retired to the fact in not even trying before I met Ry. I love how we make it “easy” for each other. I think its our constant and consist communication we BOTH strive to give to it. I love that we both have the same desires and motivations in SL. We each have our own “thing” in SL and we both support each other in it. We’re a good mesh. But don’t tell her all this, it tends to go to her head. XD JUST KIDDING!

The interaction of land with water provides much of the beauty when photographing Second Life. Without our sea, our virtual world would be a haphazard collection of landscapes and builds. Water gives us a gorgeous unifying factor which can portray an infinite number of moods depending on lighting conditions and other ambient factors. The following photographs were taken in 2010 at locations in Second Life, many of which are no longer available. However, the images captured have more to do with advanced light and water settings that are made available as options in the Phoenix viewer. The best way to explore these is to experiment at a high resolution, and save images directly to your hard drive to begin final processing. It may surprise many people to know that I did not use Adobe Photoshop, or any similar programs to process these images. Except for a few minor tweaks to adjust light and occasionally tonal balance the images you see here employ color and lighting schemes available in Phoenix. I took these images in ultra settings to get water reflections and additional atmospherics. I did sharpen images somewhat (making color boundaries more distinct) to highlight color boundaries when called for. None of these photographs appear to be that “conventional. But they all imply a certain mood which portrayed what I set out to accomplish. Additional land and seascapes can be seen at my gallery on Whiskers Sim.
