Charleroi Fine Arts Museum

The Fine Arts Museum, whose collections cover the major movements that developed in

Belgium in the 19th and 20th centuries, features such well-known names as F-J Navez,

J. Portaels, C. Meunier, P. Paulus, R. Magritte and J. Delahaut. The new dimension given to the Museum by present-day artists enriches this delightful collection of Walloon art.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, "Le Bois du Cazier" lived out a terrible mining tragedy in the Fifties. The visit includes a full tour of the industrial museum, including the "August 8th, 1956" section, Industrial Museum and Glass Museum.
