Convening open on an international level.

OPPTA is working on a campaign to launch and disseminate the project in:

Co-participation and results

• self-issued publications which include periodic publication of the programmes and scheduled interventions in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

As an on-line platform it links both the educational, scientific and professional communities associated with the issues on landscape, territory and architecture and those associated with the use and development of new technologies.

As a documental platform, it promotes the use and distribution of content, and facilitates the work of municipalities, archives, libraries, as well as the dissemination of work from current or completed investigations. The content of WikiPan is generated through direct participation within the Creative Common framework, an open source tool, which recognises copyright and quotes the work and its restrictions.

Singularity WikiPan becomes the first dissemination platform of an informative or scientific character on diverse and multidisciplinary themes in the fields of architecture, landscape ... It will constitute an indexed digital database of subjects related to territory, landscape and architecture.

OPPTA Publications Publications is the editorial project of the Pan-American Observatory for the diffusion of investigations and projects fostered or developed by the Observatory.

Scope

The WikiPan programme is linked with the remainder of the OPPTA programmes, ensuring its dissemination in all the public presentations of the global project.

OPPTA will devote a space for the educational community in WikiPan investigation and resources, providing and disposing of information on the subjects in question.

It covers the edition of a publication which shows the results of the OPPTA competition together with the documents developed by the observers during its preparation phase as well as all the information related to the Debates, Workshops and Priority Action already completed. Publications also includes a project dedicated to special editions, always related to investigations or projects initiated through the Observatory Network of Projects or members of The Scientific Committee who are working in related fields.
