Message from t he President Greetings, I hope everyone has had a very successful hay season and continues to throughout the fall. Fall seems to be shaping up a little better weather wise than last year, I wish everyone the best of luck with fall harvest, maximum yields all around! This spring we lost Josh Wooddisse as our Client Service Manager and I would just like to take this opportunity to once again thank him for all of his hard work and dedication throughout his years of service to the Ontario Simmental Association. On July 15th we were lucky enough to fill the Client Service Manager position with Whitney De Decker of Velian Farms. We are very excited to be working with Whitney, she has already hit the ground running at full speed. We can't wait to see the positive impact and changes she will bring to the Ontario Simmental Association over the years to come. We encourage you to reach out to Whitney and welcome her to our team. I would also like to congratulate the Ontario YCS on a tremendously successful provincial show, with 70 head entered by 40 participants. They are the future of our breed and man does our future ever look bright! We are looking forward to seeing everyone around this fall at all the various Simmental shows and events.
