“ I H I G H LY RECOMMEND VISITING THIS STUNNING, TRADITIONAL P U B” The vegetables were al denté and fresh and the chips were chunky heaven (a bit like myself). Even though I was full, I ate every last bit in case I regretted not doing so later. I am never one to turn down dessert, so ordered the home made lemon tart with chantilly cream and fresh raspberries. A crumbly base played host to the most delicious filling, creamy, sweet and slightly sharp, the perfect balance of flavours. The freshly whipped chantilly cream gave an added decadence to an already perfect dessert. I highly recommend visiting this stunning, traditional pub, the homemade food is reminiscent of what your mum or nan would make. Nothing is pre-bought or comes out of a packet, it is all

prepared from scratch and that is evident in every last bite. Going forward, Sharon is planning to introduce another British comfort food favourite, sausage and mash to the Monday night menu, perfect for an aprés Christmas shopping dinner before going home. P.S - I recently tried the roast dinner and wasn’t disappointed, I found by booking a table in advance I was finally able to get through the door!
