Crohn’s Disease is a chronic bowel syndrome which causes inflammation of the gastrointestinal system. The disease can affect any part of the digestive system from mouth to anus. The common affected area of the digestive system is the end of small intestine. Inflammation spreads deeply into the layer of affected bowel tissue which give rise to serious complications like ulcer, intestinal blockage and fistula. The symptoms of the Crohn’s Disease include abdominal pain, malnutrition, severe diarrhea, weight loss, vomiting, anal fistula, rectal bleeding and fever. Other complications like anemia, arthritis, tiredness, skin rashes and inflammation in the eye, may occur outside the gastrointestinal tract.
