Guidelines for Happy Camping! Please help us provide an enjoyable experience for all of our camping guests by observing the following guidelines: Checkout Time is 11:00 am. If you wish to extend your stay and we hope you do, please re-register by 10:00 am, subject to availability. Quiet Hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Many travelers are tired and leave early, so we ask you to observe our “Quiet Time.” Visitors must register at the office before entering the campground and are subject to a daily fee. Campers are responsible for their guests at all times. Pets welcome! But please observe proper pet etiquette, including no longer than six-foot leashes and poop’n scoop. Our dog park is a fun, leash-free play area for all of our furry campers. Speed limit in our campground is 10 km/hr. Please drive carefully as we have many young visitors. Their safety is our utmost concern. No rope clotheslines are permitted due to their posing a danger to children in the night time. Absolutely no taking of wood or brush out of the forest. Our trees are precious and beautiful for all of us to enjoy. Wood may be purchased at store. Please do not cross through neighbors sites, use designated paths only. Visit Terry Fox Monument

We lco Cam m perse !

Don’t miss a visit to this monument dedicated to Terry Fox, the courageous Canadian who ran halfway across the country on an artificial leg to raise money and awareness for cancer research. He called it the Marathon of Hope. Unfortunately, cancer took his life on July 28, 1981, but his spirit and courage live on. The monument is a nine-foot high bronze rendering of Terry on a granite base with a foundation of local amethyst near the Visitor Information Center. Located in Thunder Bay.
