A Little History White lightning, bathtub gin, corn liquor… the names evoke a nostalgic sense of adventure. The culture of the Deep South is heavily steeped in “Moonshinin’ and Revenooers,” with Cosby, TN (at our back door) claiming to be the “moonshine capital of the world.” The roads and highways around this area echo with the long gone sounds of the moonshiners tearing down the road with the revenuers in hot pursuit. The origins of NASCAR are to be found in those high speed chases. Page 3
