Welcome to Greenleaf State Park. We are delighted you are here and extend a warm welcome to our first time visitors and “welcome back” to our returning guests. We hope you enjoy our park in the foothills of the “Ozark Mountains.” The lake, cabins and other facilities were built in the 1930s by the WPA workers. The original buildings, constructed of native stone, remain a lasting and beautiful tribute to those who built them. Greenleaf State Park is known as Oklahoma’s “Family Fun” park. Activities include Greenleaf Discovery Center, hiking, camping and fishing. The park also features an 18 hole mini-golf course, kids’ fishing pond, swimming pool, and Greenleaf hiking trails. We want your visit here to be a great experience. We hope you enjoy your stay. Please come back again.
Campground Rules & Information Please help us by following a few guidelines that will make everyone’s stay more enjoyable. For the protection of the wildlife and our environment, please do not litter. Protect the natural and cultural resources of our State Parks. Removing plants, rocks, fossils, etc. is prohibited. If you choose to remove them, the next guest will not be able to enjoy the same beauty that you did.
QUIET HOURS: 11 pm to 6 am. PETS: We welcome your pets at our parks. For the protection of your pets, the wildlife and other
guests, we ask that you please keep your pets on a leash. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms or the swimming areas. Please clean up after your pets.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Possession of alcohol in concentration greater than 3.2% is prohibited. SWIMMING: We have a swimming pool open during the summer season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, with lifeguards on duty. Children under 6 years of age must have an adult attendant with them. We also have a swim beach; no lifeguard on duty. Glass containers are not allowed in the swimming areas. Please ensure children are not left unattended.
GREY WATER: Grey water ultimately harms the fish supply in our lakes and is illegal in the State of Oklahoma. Dump stations are located in the Gobbler Ridge and Deer Run campground areas. We ask that you hold all grey water in your RV and dump it with your other waste. CAMPFIRES: You are welcome to pick up fallen branches or other debris for your campfire,
but our living trees are precious and must be protected. Please be responsible for controlling fires until extinguished. Observe all fire alerts and burn bans.
FIREWORKS: Fireworks are prohibited. FIREARMS: Possession of a loaded firearm is prohibited within the state park buildings. SEVERE WEATHER: In the event of severe weather, please take shelter in one of the restrooms. Please DO NOT stay in your RV or tent.
