Garden of the Gods RV Resort Rules Thank you for choosing to stay with us here at the Garden of the Gods RV Resort! It is our pleasure to assist you and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. In following the resort’s guidelines, the comfort and well-being of all will be ensured. RESERVATIONS AND CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Space rent is payable in advance of occupancy. Unit check-in is 3:00 pm. Check-in for RVs and Tents is 1:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am. SECURITY PATROL: During peak season, security patrols the Resort. Please be sure to hang your parking pass from the mirror of your vehicle to avoid a patrol check. Visitors must check in with the Office upon entering the property so they may be given a visitors pass for their vehicle. If the Office is closed, report to the Office when it reopens. If they are staying overnight, you will need to pay an additional charge. PETS: Pets are welcome under the following restrictions: They must remain leashed at all times on a leash no longer than 6 feet. The Bark Park is off-leash. Pets must be kept quiet, cleaned up after, and inside your vehicle when left alone. Pets are not allowed in the Bunkhouses, Suites, Cottages, Studios, Houses, or Pool areas, Arcade, Laundry or Shower Facilities. Outdoor pens and kennels are prohibited unless approved by management. Pets may be chained at your site on a leash no longer than 6 feet long, and must be attended. Leaving your pet chained at your site while you are away from your site is strictly prohibited. Not following these rules is grounds for eviction. Service Dogs are the exception to this rule. Rottweilers or Bully Breed Dogs to include Pit Bulls or Pit Mixes are not accepted. Guests will also be asked to leave if their dog exhibits excessive aggression towards other pets or people. ATVs & UNLICENSED VEHICLES: ATVs and unlicensed vehicles are not to be ridden in the resort. Personal golf carts may be used with prior management approval. CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for all actions of their children, including financial liability for damage caused to resort facilities and to property of other resort guests. Children will NOT be left unattended in the resort. PLAYGROUND: The playground is open only during daylight hours. It does not have an attendant. Parents must be present at the playground while their children play on the equipment and parents must assume all risk. SWIMMING POOLS: Hours are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and are open seasonally. Both pools are open for children and families. Only bathing suits may be worn in the swimming pool. A lifeguard is not provided. An adult MUST accompany children under the age of 18 at all times. Pool use is reserved for guests only. CAMPFIRES: Campfire rings are provided by the resort at the playground, and designated tent sites. Removal of fire rings is prohibited. Personal self-contained, above ground, and covered fire rings are permitted. TENTS: Tents are not permitted on a RV site. SEWER SEALS: Are required for all sewer hoses connected to our lines. VEHICLE WASHING & AUTO REPAIR IN THE PARK: Vehicle/ RV washing is allowed under the following conditions: • Hoses/nozzles must be used. • No over-spray. • No running water. • No vehicle or RV Washing allowed during freezing conditions. No auto repair allowed unless service is being performed by approved vendor.

RESTROOM, SHOWER & LAUNDRY FACILITIES: Open 24-hours. Unattended, or left laundry will be removed. Management is not responsible for guest property left unattended in the laundry or damage caused by our machines to your property. SMOKING AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: No smoking or alcohol are permitted in any building or within 25 feet of any building per Colorado State Law. Any guest smoking within these buildings will be subjected to fines. Marijuana use is prohibited and illegal in public space and may only be consumed inside an RV. Use of Marijuana outside your RV may be cause for eviction. SITE INSPECTIONS: Management conducts inspections of all sites. Awnings extended from RVs are permitted. Upright propane tanks of 100 gallons or less are allowed at sites between Oct. 1 and April 30. Please note the following rules for outdoor areas on your sites: • No towels or other articles • Outside water heaters, refrigerators, permanent hanging on fences or RVs. furniture, messy children’s toys, • Unsafe, cluttered or unsightly indoor carpet are not allowed. Radios, televisions, and stereo volumes should not be audible beyond personal space. Other activities and conversation levels should also be controlled. SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH is strictly enforced for the safety of everyone. Drive only on designated roads and avoid driving through campsites. This includes bikes, rollerblades, scooters, motorcycles, etc. Use exits and entrances appropriately. TRASH: A clean resort is in everyone’s best interest. Please cooperate in proper trash disposal during your stay and when you depart. Large trash containers are conveniently placed near the bathrooms and the pavilion. DAMAGE: Management is not responsible for damage, injury or loss by accident, theft, or fire to either the property or person or any tenant. If you cause damage to the resort property in any way, you will be charged for the damages. MAIL: A drop box for outgoing mail is located in the office. We recommend that you get a post office box at the local post office for your incoming mail. The reason for this is because the Post Office WILL NOT forward your mail from our address when you leave, which causes problems in the future with forwarding your mail. GENERAL STORE AND LODGE: We are open 7 days a week; opening and closing hours vary by season. WILDLIFE: Squirrels, deer, fox, and occasionally one might spot a bear or coyote strolling through the property. Please do not approach or feed any wildlife.
