Campground Rules and Regulations REGISTRATION: Please register and pay for your site in advance at the Office. If you wish to change your site, check with the Office first. Put your registration sticker on the passenger side of your windshield, on the outside. Unregistered vehicles will be towed away at owner’s expense. RATES: All rates are based on 2 people and 1 vehicle per campsite. Additional charges apply for any additional people/ vehicles in your camping party. LATE NIGHT REGISTRATION: If the Office is closed, please deposit your fee in the night deposit box. Routine nightly checks are made. If you have not paid your fee, you will be awakened.

10 2 Check-out time is 11am. 3 9 Please check out at the 4 8 7 5 Office as you leave. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours. PETS: Pets are welcome, but must be controlled. Please keep your pet on a 6-foot leash when outside your vehicle and pick up after your pet. No barking dogs or other noisy pets are allowed. If you leave the Campground, you must take your pet with you. SHOWERS: Showers operate on TOKENS that you can purchase from the Store. Each token allows seven minutes of hot water. (Showers are available for Campground patrons only.)

FIRES: Fires are allowed only in

the fire rings and barbecues that are provided. Please put all fires out. GENERATORS: Operation of generators is NOT permitted at any time. VISITORS: As a Campground patron, you are responsible for your visitors. Make sure that visitors register at the Office and leave their vehicles in the front parking area. No visitors after 10 pm.

VEHICLE & TRAILER: WASHING: There is a

$1.00 charge, per vehicle, for washing at your site. NOT ALLOWED: Mechanical work on vehicles, radiator draining, oil changing. DUMP STATION: Available for your convenience, but there is a charge. Please check at the Office for fee.

Nearby Points of Interest ANCIENT BRISTLECONE PINE FOREST – Pines that are more than 4000 years old, the oldest known living things. Travel east on Hwy 168, then White Mountain Road to Schulman Grove at a 10,000-foot elevation. BISHOP CREEK – Travel west on Hwy 168 to reach Lake Sabrina, North Lake, South Lake, and access to the high country. Great fishing! BROWN’S OWENS RIVER CAMPGROUND – Beautiful, serene Owens Valley area, with fishing just outside the gate from the Campground. Fish where you stay!

EASTERN CALIFORNIA MUSEUM –

Natural and cultural history of the Owens Valley. Learn the stories of the L.A. aqueduct, the Manzanar internment camp, and early mining settlements in Independence.

established in 1919 as a Premier Resort and Spa. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter, refreshing year round! The largest 100% pure free flowing natural mineral hot springs pool in the Eastern Sierra. LAWS RAILROAD MUSEUM – Narrow-gauge railroad museum. See the “Slim Princess” and visit an authentic 1883 railroad village. 5 miles north on Hwy 6.

PAIUTE-SHOSHONE INDIAN CULTURAL CENTER –

Displays of local, Native American tools, clothes, artifacts. Gift shop with local arts and crafts. On West Line Street in Bishop. RAINBOW PACK OUTFIT – This historic yet operational pack station allows the visitor to tour the facility while learning the history of pack mules on the trails of the Sierra. Daily trail rides available.
