At the age of seven, Rudy made the difficult decision to have both his legs removed above the knee. Despite his amputations, Rudy focused on his passion for sports and his goals to win multiple gold and silver medals at the Paralympic Games.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, awareness, and research. Register for our team today! Even if you cannot attend the walk, you can raise awareness and funds by participating as a Virtual Walker.
SAN and Corporate Asian American Employee Network (CAAEN) will be hosting their annual event on the Safeway campus. A panel of speakers will discuss the topic “On the Shoulders of Giants” and there will be an opportunity to network with several other Bay Area companies. A light dinner and refreshments will be served at this event.

Building Bridges Garden Beautification Saturday, October 26 9 a.m. â€“ 4 p.m. VA Hospital Livermore We are collaborating with Building Bridges to build planter boxes, plant flowers and vegetables, repair irrigation, install a misting system, and general landscaping to beautify the VA Hospital Gardens.
