Learn more: ElderCare Support Group The ElderCare Support Group provides information and support for employees who are caring for, or who are planning to care for, elder loved ones. They provide a supportive atmosphere for caregivers to help each other through sharing resources, information, and stories. This month, ElderCare will host a free information session with neuropsychologist Dr. Samuel Gontkovsky on Tuesday, June 25 to help you and your family navigate the challenges that come after an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis. HOPE welcomes Joree Rosenblatt MA, who has a master's degree in counseling psychology and a passion for mindfulness. Joree will conduct a session on mindfulness which is the practice of living your life with awareness, intention, and attention.

Join Dr. Samuel Gontkovsky for a free information session on navigating the challenges that come after an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis. Special giveaway: Everyone who attends will receive Dr. Gontkovsky's book, Mind Over Gray Matter: A New Approach to Dementia Care.

Wednesday, June 26 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Alameda County Fairgrounds Join the Green Team to package meals to replenish the emergency food stored at the fairgrounds for Alameda County residents in the event of an earthquake. Participants can get free access to the fair by bringing a can of food to enter.

Sunday, June 30 10:30 a.m. Market Street, San Francisco Safeway will be marching in the annual 2013 Pride Parade. Retail, division, and corporate employees are all welcome to attend this exciting event and walk together. T-shirts and transportation will be provided for all attendees who register by Friday, June 14. Contact Chris Colombana for more information.
