General Learning Outcomes Learn the importance of appreciation and encouragement in the workplace and understand the key differences between recognition and appreciation and the impact of within your teams and organization. Experience, understand, and apply “The 5 Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace”, the specific dialects of each language and our blind spots around the languages valued by those within your organization, team, etc. Commit to specific action items to continue to practice using meaningful appreciation and encouragement to enhance your team and organization’s appreciation culture once you have left the live session. Continued coaching and accountability for implementation of teams specific action planning.

Live Facilitation Requirements Spacious room, preferably with natural light & easy access to facilities Projector & screen,(for groups over 20 we will require a wireless microphone) Wall space for chart paper, easels, or dry erase boards (enough for 5 groups) Depending on length of experience - Healthy snacks & good "brain food"

Virtual Facilitation Requirements Held on a dynamic video platform where all participants can be on video, have use of non-verbal communication such as chat & polls. (e.g. Zoom) Access to breakout rooms for dynamic discussions. Administrator from your company to manage registration, confirmation, access link communication & manage the chatline (if not possible, we can provide for an additional admin fee)


Experience Deliverables & Inclusions One-hour long facilitator-lead virtual discovery call to understand organization, current culture, pain points, goals & more. Pre-work email sharing a personalized facilitator-lead welcome video. Plus, mentimeter polling for use to kick-off live event. Up to half-day (3-hour) live facilitator-lead experience on agreed upon date. All handouts. Event Summary Report including any transcripts and/or typed notes as a result of our time together.

Continued Learning Opportunities Executive Summary Reporting Individual Online Assessment, with full report and key ideas for each individual's unique appreciation preferences. Leadership Team Action & Implementation Planning - Live or Virtual Experience Virtual Coaching & Implementation - Leadership Team Lead, supported by Facilitator (minimum of 4 bi-weekly sessions)

While my formal background is in education, my professional experiences have been gained through my time in retail management & operations, my experience helping to scale an Australian wine company, training and facilitation, and exuding my entrepreneurial spirit by helping to grow independent businesses within the direct-selling industry. I know what it feels like to love what you do, while also feeling somewhat underappreciated. Because of that, my professional journey hasn't exactly been sequenced. I've learned a lot about how to treat people and have seen first-hand what a lack of appreciation, in any formal or corporate culture, can do to an individual's mental, physical, and emotional health. I have also seen what it does to the bottom-line of an organization. I'm extremely passionate about helping others find the solutions they're looking for, driving the results they desire and deserve. That's why I'm committed to improving results - starting with the most important asset ... THE PEOPLE!
