Borough Commander, Glenn Tunstall has set these 3 community focused priorities for the forthcoming performance year for Kingston Borough officers: Deliver exceptional service to every Victim, every time Measured through: Confidence and Satisfaction, Victim’s Code of Practice, Rate your PC, Public Complaints Protecting Vulnerable in society Prioritising: Children, Elderly, Hate Crime, Domestic abuse, Sexual offences Put prevention at the heart of everything we do Achieved by: Making every encounter an opportunity for prevention activity Continually looking for ways to reduce demand at the outset Actively manage cases of repeat demand Embed a prevention mindset across all our teams. Work with all our communities to give people the knowledge to protect themselves This September we will be starting our interactive crime prevention talks again. All talks start at 10am for 10.15am and last approximately 1 hour. The speaker is Kingston’s very own Chief Inspector Gary Taylor.
