Issue 14

Hello Everyone I would like to start off by saying both sorry and thank you to Naila at Lavish Beauty London. Firstly thank you for supplying the photo for the front cover last month. I am sure you all agree it was a stunning cover, and secondly a sincere apology for not publishing a credit for the photo. (Please check out her advert on page 18). Did you know I can see into the future? I have seen a fantastic couple of months coming for Kingston, and as there is so much going on I thought the best way of keeping you all up to date would be with a FREE centre page pull out. Just pull out the middle section of your Omni Local and you can pop in on your fridge or pin board so you don’t miss any of the great events happening all over Kingston. I really have to take my hat off to the guys at the IYAF! Over 300 events, in 15 venues and just 18 days to see them all…..What a tremendous effort they have made. As if I haven’t packed in enough info and events into this month’s edition, I have launched a new section - Local History! (Thanks to Michael Seigel of Kingston Tour Guides). I really don’t think everyone knows how much history there is in our wonderful town. Please make sure you check it out. We are going to take a bit of a break for the summer period, and our next issue will be in September. I am not actually going off anywhere, but just taking some time to look at improving the magazine. The September issue is going to be all about back to school, and learning something new. So look out for the new and improved issue then. I am having a little party to celebrate the first Official full year of Omni Local. You are invited to join me, on July 5th. I have booked a F1 simulator and a sensational local up and coming band to play the night out. If you would like to join me, just send an email and I’ll make sure you get in. So until then, may I wish you all a great summer, enjoy all the festivals laid on. Please visit the excellent things we have on right here in Kingston, not forgetting to cheer me on at the dragon boat race! And please stay safe.
