CHEMICAL PRINCIPLES Corona discharge breaks the dioxygen O2 in atomic oxygen O. Atomic oxygen is the strongest antioxidant representative. It is unstable. The distribution dictates that most of the atomic oxygen will recombine back into O2 emitting blue light and some will combine with O2 to make O3. Ozone is also unstable, and flammable and will inevitably (nevyhnutelně) break back down into O2 again All three types of oxidized and distort pathogenic microorganisms.
OZONE TOXICITY Ozone has excellent results in topical treatment. But it is an irritant of the mucous membranes and the lungs. If the portable high frequency unit is operated in an open environment there is no chance that ozone can build up to levels which would be harmful.
