• DECREASING OF CONSUMPTION OF STRIPPING STEAM The quantity of stripping steam required is directly proportional to absolute pressure. At 24 mm Hg for example twice as much steam will be required as at 12 mm Hg . four times as much as at 6 mm Hg. 6 mm Hg
