Learning & Development


Learning and Development Center objective is to provide effective learning solutions to the right staff at the right time, in order to maximize individual and team performance and productivity. L&D Center is responsible for coordinating the selection, content , structure and delivery of learning programs. Business and functional priorities determine the nature and number of courses an individual may attend. Currently a majority of the learning methodology is course based, however L&D Center is gradually progressing more courses into on-job-training and coaching programs these learning methods are proven to be more effective for technical and leadership, combining both informal and formal learning.


Learning & Development

OAMC learning and development requirements are determined by OAMC’s current and forecasted business activities and aim to ensure professional development and effectiveness in the following areas: • Managing the Airport Assets, Facilities, Infrastructure, Projects and Maintenance Plans. • Managing the Aerodrome Certification & Compliance, Emergency Planning, Capacity Management and Customer Services. • To be ready for the new airport and to ensure that OAMC is fully manned, prepared and equipped to operate all the new airports. • Airfield, Terminal, Flight Information and Fire Fighting Management. • Managing all the commercial areas such as retail, real estate, fuel farm, concession agreements, car park, airport space adverting, corporate communications and airline marketing. • Managing Information, Communications and Technology at the Airports. • Procurement policies and procedures. • Human Resources and administration support for the corporate company • Security facilitation and management. • Health, Safety and Environmental Management for all organizations operating within the Airport Boundaries.

OBJECTIVES This course is aimed at employees who will be first responders to medical or injury emergencies in the workplace. These First Aiders will learn the theory and practical skills necessary to carry out emergency first aid for minor and major illnesses and injuries both at home and at work.
