Dear Future BaconFest Omaha Sponsor, Vendor, or Attendee, My name is Maria Vazquez and I am the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Metropolitan Community College. I am also a member of The Salvation Army Kroc Center Advisory Council and have the privilege this year of serving as the chair of BaconFest Omaha. I am excited to invite you to be a part of the Food - Family - Fun! The Salvation Army Kroc Center provides life-changing experiences for all who enter its doors. Its mission is to inspire people to discover their God given talents and to develop their potential through artistic, educational, physical, and spiritual experiences in a Christ-centered atmosphere. BaconFest Omaha was created to be a fun way for people to support our mission and to help us keep membership and programs affordable for those who need them most. Whether you come as a sponsor or vendor, or buy tickets, you provide a safe place of encouragement for families and children, especially those in south Omaha. I look forward to seeing you on September 7 at BaconFest Omaha. Thank you for your participation. Gratefully,
Maria Vasquez Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Metropolitan Community College

Make an Impact Simply by becoming a BaconFest Omaha sponsor or vendor, or just by buying tickets, you are making a huge impact on the lives of so many in our community. Joan Kroc knew that healthy, happy, confident people are better parents, earn higher grades in school, enjoy their jobs and are more productive, and actively pursue a better future for their community. That is why she trusted The Salvation Army with her dream that Kroc Centers would bring communities together. Omaha’s Kroc Center does this every day. Our staff starts by honoring what each person brings with them, then matching them to programs and activities that help them discover and develop those unique talents, and helping every member achieve successes that build confidence and self-esteem. The proceeds from BaconFest Omaha go to work immediately. We’ll use them to keep memberships and program costs low, assuring everybody has access.
Thank you for your support.
