ETIREMENT HAS BEEN
everything Nebraskans Ron and Carol Koch hoped. “We love being able to do what we want,” says Carol. “We travel. We love bus tours. So much easier than having to plan it ourselves.” Ron enjoys collecting Santas and volunteering as a docent at the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln. “I love cars, and our museum has been called a ‘gearhead’s Smithsonian,’” he says proudly. “How does it get better?”
Ron and Carol credit good planning for their ability to direct their own path in retirement. They committed to enter retirement debt-free. And they chose Physicians Mutual for their health coverage. Ron’s parents had been Physicians Mutual customers, and Ron saw first-hand how the company addressed their needs. “Physicians Mutual was there for my parents. We were very pleased. That was why we chose Physicians Mutual too.” The Kochs have since purchased additional policies. “We are very happy to be part of the Physicians Mutual family,” says Carol.
