Online Safety Tips for Parents & Kids #1: Place the computer in a well-trafficked area in the home where the whole family can use it. While this practice can help with younger children, parents need to realize that children today access the Internet in many ways: school, library, coffee shop, work or a friend’s house. Devices such as cell phones, smart phones, consoles like X box and Play Station enable them to go online almost anywhere. Be aware of any other computers your child may be using. To see what the Diocese of Erie is doing to keep children and youth safe, check out CANCER SUPPORT GROUP The next meeting of the cancer prayer and support group will take place on Thursday, February 10 @ St. Mark Center in the Michael Murphy Conference Room. Please enter by way of the first door, marked with a big red “C”, off the parking lot in the rear of the building. The group will be led by Fr. Tom Aleksa, senior associate of St. Luke Parish in Erie and a double cancer survivor. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Fr. Aleksa @ 730-3374. A FAMILY PERSPECTIVE Today’s gospel challenges us to be a “light” to our community. Parents shine their own guiding light by their actions, inviting their children to follow the light of their “good deeds”. BREAKFAST SERVED Enjoy a buffet breakfast today, Sunday, February 6, 7:00 - 10:30 a.m. at St. James Place. Adults $6.00, seniors $5.50, children 612 $4.50, children under 6, $2.00.
