 Meat fish and eggs is the biggest category for launches with omega-3 claims.  Cereals showed the highest growth compared to 2011: +40%.  Interestingly, sauces and seasonings are the third biggest category for omega-3 claims in 2012. This illustrates that omega3 claims have become very mainstream.  Drilling down further, fish & seafood is the biggest subcategory for omega-3 claims.
